4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Ruby red body with a very small ring of pinkish bubbles around the edge of the glass. A sour raspberry aroma mixed with just a hint of maybe honey sweetness. Sour, raspberry, hints of bitterness, barnyard grassy, and all kinds of other flavors my vocabulary can’t describe. Delicious.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: MAR 16, 2014
750 ml cork bottle “2011 vintage” bought at Valentino Chocolatier in Wan Chai.
Looks: Clear cherry ruby colour with particles of yeast sediments; Half-finger head with off-pink foam which fades in 20 seconds; Moderate sticky lacing with active, barely notable carbonation.
Aroma: fragrant raspberry flesh, with fairly light yoghurt, strawberry flesh, light red wine, tannic, sugar and light malt.
Taste: Pleasant light tart taste of light malt, with light yoghurt, non-sweet raspberry, light cherry, tannic, shades of red wine, lemon, and good grassy hops
Body: Mid to light body. Thin palate.
Mouth feel: very well blending of lambic and raspberry. The yoghurty taste is light, not dominating and quite tasty, and raspberry is quite fresh, non-juice like, and the best of all, no sweetness despite sugar in the mix. Some great brewing skill at work here! Good hint of red wine with light tannic.
Hoppiness / Tannic: Unusually strong hops for fruit limbic, with good lemon and strong grass in taste. Bitterness is very low-fi, with moderate tannic for a fairly light astringent finish.
After Taste: Fairly dry after taste. Easy and tart to mouth.
Comments: A very nice and neat raspberry limbic - strong fruity raspberry, just right light limbic tartness, no sweetness via skillful blending, a touch of red wine and unusually good hoppiness. Its aroma is more expressive than taste, but overall it’s very pleasant to enjoy without even worrying about sweetness. A joy!

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark red/ruby. Aroma has a cellar like couped up in the bottle like aroma. Sips light to medium bodied with low carbonation. Big raspberry sweetness up front which mellows in the middle to slight tannin like dryness and finishes slightly watery with red fruit lingering. Sour lambic aftertaste is also present. I like this framboise better then lindemens just because of the higher abv..I would recommend though.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at Holy Grale, served in a footed glass. Pours a clear, bright ruby color with a finger of pink-tinted head. Aroma of cream, sugar, vanilla, sweet raspberry, oak, and soap. Flavor of bigger raspberry, vanilla, oak, earth, and light minerals. Light-medium bodied, with moderate carbonation and a sweet mouthfeel that finishes dry. Not bad, but the first few sips were definitely the best.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
75cl bottle. Pours a hazed red color with some black floaties. Aromas of smashed raspberries with seeds, raspberry jam. No sourness or funk detected in the nose. Taste is pretty simple... Slightly sweet but with no funk or lactic components. Not sour, not even tart. Just very plain, sugar free raspberry jam taste. Finishes very bland. It’s ok.
