At WE of Spontaneous Fermentation 2014. Hazy/murky orange with no head and no lacing. Aroma is of wood, brettanomyces, caramel, cheesy notes and light sweetness. Taste is slightly/moderately sweet with brettanomyces, wood and caramel. Medium body. Flat. Dry finish. Way better than the Boon Oude Lambik we had at Night of the Great Thirst. Good balance, not agressive at all.

Cask at WoSF 2014. Hazy amber pour. Very tame aroma, faint cheesy notes, light grassy notes, brown sugar, light green apple. Balanced flavor, light sweet maltiness, mild funk, bready, brown sugar. Very easy drinking, tasty.

Buona, ma l’acidità rischia di smarrirsi in una direzione dolciastra e sciropposa. Riesce comunque a mantenere un rispettabile contegno da lambic ed esprimere note speziate e leggermente maltate abbinate a un’acidità dignitosa.

From a hand-bottle (growler?) at the Leiderkerke Beer Festival. Pale gold-amber, flat. Nose of leather, citrus, horse blanket, old books. Quite sour flavor wiuth lemon, yogurt/spoiled milk, leather, dust. A bit harsh (but nothing next to the MS). Creamy, with an oily body. Interesting and refreshing, not exactly delicious but balanced and nice.

Draught at DHVL. Clear golden liquid with minimal white head. Aroma of lemons, apples, grain, bread and white pepper. Taste is light sweet and light sour with notes of lemon, bread and apples. Light to medium bodied with no carbonation.

Tap at WoSF, 2013 (thanks to 77ships). It pours clearish yellow with no head. The nose is wood, fairly bitter, light spice, leaf, tangy white grape and light mustiness. The taste is bitter-sweet, very mild indeed, faint lemon, green apple, wood and a touch of zesty lemon. Light body and low carbonation. Not bad, it has a good sweet-sour thing going on. Mild and easy going.

Sampled draft @ WoSF 2013 – part of my blind tasting of lambic’s. Clear golden with a straightforward tart nose, mellow wood & lemon, light green apple, comparable taste, light straightforward lemon, wood, light fruits, med. Tart, slightly above average acidity. Touch watery. Not bad.

[4/30/13] Draught at Mikkeler & Friends in Copenhagen. Hazy yellow-orange with a bit of white foam. Funky woody aroma. Refreshing sour flavor, a bit lemony. Medium-bodied. Nice and refreshing.

Dag van de Lambik @ Verzekering tegen de Grote Dorst. Very young Lambik from 2012. I didn’t expect that this shoud be so sweet, like they use a lot of sugar and sweeteners. Bitter aftertaste and almost no sourness. Not my favourite lambic.
