4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 planky84 (1246) - , - APR 24, 2010
Bottle from Beer Planet, Brussels. Deep red pour with a pink head which soon dissipates. Excellent carbonation. Very nice fruity, barnyard nose. A little floral. Smooth cherry aromas with hints of redcurrants, raisins, cherry skins, quite acetic. Crisp flavours of cherries, sultanas, lemon rind, lime. Excellent sweet/sour balance. Long, lingering sour fruity finish. Very tasty!
4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 FaithHealer1 (224) - SCOTLAND - MAY 27, 2012
2009 bottle at North Bar, Leeds. Pours the most beautiful blood red I’ve ever seen in a beer, small ring of bubbles that persists. Aroma is a stunner: cherry, lemon, tobacco, blackcurrant, perfume, rose Turkish Delight. Taste is lovely, cherry, lemon, a bit of chocolate, rose. Sour. Obviously. My god, this is good.
4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 dantheman278 (975) - SCOTLAND - MAY 27, 2012
2009 bottle from North Bar. Amazing blood red pour, just a tiny pink head on top. Incredibly complex nose - tart cherry, soft strawberry, lemon, balsamic hints, and some sort of tobacco dustiness too. Surprisingly dry front, tart and vinous, hint of cherry fruit, woody notes, varnish. Puckering sour finish, again a touch of sherbetty cherry tartness. AMAZING.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 RasmusOtt (770) - Aalborg, DENMARK - MAY 22, 2012
Pours a very nice deep red with a pink head. Aroma is sour cherries, brett, a little bit of lacto acid, some red currants, some sweeter berry notes and some oak. Taste is very fruity with cherries and other berries along with brett, medium tartness, champagne, weak sulfur, minerals and oak. A very nice summer kriek for this summer night.
4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 rbrazell (359) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAY 21, 2012
2008 Bottle. Beautiful deep ruby red pour with a small fizzy pink head. Aroma of yeasty funk, tart cherries, notes of lemon peels and light grain. Puckering tartness, acidic, sour cherries, some vinegar, and very high but not overpowering carbonation. Fantastic balance, complex and delicious beer.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 KickInChalice (771) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 17, 2012
Poured from a 375 mL bottle into a tulip.
It pours a deep ruby color with a nice foamy cherry colored head.
The aroma is sweet and slightly tart cherry, Musty oak, vanilla, and some balsamic vinegar in the background.
Boon Kriek starts off with a sweet cherry flavor with a little bit of vanilla. Slowly the flavor turns tart and sour, with an acetic undertone.
The mouthfeel is a little bit on the full side to start out with, but it lightens up a little bit as the sip progresses. The carbonation is creamy and imparts a smooth character. It is not intensely sour, but somewhat acetic and vinegary.
This is quite a solid Kriek.

Bottle shared by CaseyK...thanks Casey! - Definitely the gem of the GTMW line tasting for me. Pours hazy ruby with a pink foamy head. Nose is big cherry funk, lightly tart and BOLD cherries. Taste is cherry pie, tart and vinegary with tart cherries and a bretty, funky finish. Nice soft carbonation makes for a fluffy body. Stupendous.
4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 Marheb (671) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 11, 2012
*(cuvée 2008): Extrêmement juteux à ma grande surprise avec un assèchement rapide et franc. Très accessible côté sauvage et acidité mais pas simplet, au contraire, très accompli.

Bottle thx to benzai. Deep red colour with no head. Weird combination of cherries and chocolate milk. Also a bit red wine like and i dont like wine. Tastes slightly sour but not shocking. Again that red wine/port taste. I don?t know about this one.. Not bad, definately not great. Medium body, slightly warming, little to no carbo.

37,5cl bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Clear dark red color, no head. Smell light to moderate sourness, red wine and some liquor. Taste lightly sour, red fruit, a bit winey. Quite balanced, but a bit low bodied. Low carbonation.
3.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Geuzelambix (229) - København, DENMARK - MAY 4, 2012
Apart from the slightly boring aroma this beer is top quality. The slightly boozy feeling of the Mariage Parfait gueze is gone and smooth cherry remains. You can taste the sweetnes of the fruit, but it never gets too much. I had the 2008 in 2012, so some of the sourness was gone and replaced with a little more sugar. Good stuff all around
