1998 vintage from a great trade with Henrik. Shared with the wife and friends. Pours hazy red with a minimal pink head. Nice fruity, sour aroma. Subtle but sweet on the nose. Still holding a nice flavor of cherries though more tart than sweet. A balanced but slightly faded sour. Not bad for a beer of this age. An easy drinker..Thanks Papsoe...

pink red, creamy pink head with nice lacing. Nose of cherry, tart, almonds, a bit sweaty. taste rich cherry, wheat, light hop/almond bitterness, some wood y notes,very light sourness. Dry clean finish. very easy to drinka nad delicious but a bit unidimensional

Rotweinartige und trübe Farbe.
Im Geruch nach Kirsch-Mandel, jedoch voll und mild und nicht ins Extreme abgleitend.
Geschmacklich vollmundig kirschig und weich mit feiner Lambic-Note.
Ein trocken-säuerliches Kriek mit sehr sehr guter Balance. Boon Kriek ist bestimmt eines der "wahren" Krieks.Test vom 1.3.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche

2010 bottle, 4% at the Spread Eagle, Croydon. It pours clear cherry red, with a wisp of fizzy light pink head and moderate carbonation. The nose is artificial cherry, akin to cherry tunes, nettle and white sugar. The taste is cherry tunes, ripe cherry, wood and metal. It has an initial light sourness, which smoothes out to light sweet cherry. Nice enough, but I prefer my krieks much more sour.

0.375l bottle @ Baran, Bergen. Pours a clear cherry red body with a small quickly fading pinkish head. Aroma is sweet and sour: light lemon sour and cherry sweet. Notes of wood, it’s fresh, light grassy and some wet leaves. Medium bodied has a light and sticky texture and is softly carbonated. Hmm.. The first thing that comes to mind when tasting is wet cat or wet hamster. A strange flavor to put in a kriek if you ask me... Light sour and almost lemony flavors, bus still on the sweet side. Ends in a lasting cherry and light woody finish.

Bottle @ Porterhouse. Pours red, with a thick pink head. Sweet and tart cherries in both aroma and taste. Quite nice
