Tap. Clear rich red pour. Thin white head. Very sweet cherry nose. Taste was also sweet cherry and kind of medicinal. Like a cherry Halls cough drop. Decent enough but not a lot of depth.

Aroma was full of fresh cherry notes and sweet herb. But mostly the cherries shined through. The taste was far to sweet and not at all as complex as most good lambics. Tart and sour notes were not present. Also, the palate was not lively at all.

375 ml bottle. Clear red, with a thin pink head. Sweet cherry aroma. The flavour is also sweetish, dominated by cherries, with a slight sour element. Tastes more like cherry juice than lambic.

Bright red witha fizzy pink head. Cherry vanilla and oak aroma and taste with a candy finish.

Cherry body, red-pink head. Aroma is a cherry bouquet that smells somewhat fake, but still appetizing. The taste is all dark cherries with a slightly watery finish. If you like cherry juice this is great; if you’re looking for a well balanced kriek, you’ll be disappointed.

Enjoyable, lots of cherries, but a bit artificial. Taste really sweetened, like candy. A nice beer, but I’d rather have a real unsweetened kriek.

A: The pour is a cloudy dark pinkish-red with a finger’s worth of pink head. S: Very buttery for a lambic. Once you get past that, some semi-sweet cherries with a moderate tartness and not really any funk. T: Good cherry pie flavor that is mostly tart but slightly sweet as well. Mildly dry despite a fair amount of sweetness. At least it doesn’t have that same diacetyl character of the nose. M: The body is medium and the carbonation is soft to medium. D: Nowhere near as bad as the Boon Framboise, but it’s not the best kriek out there either. Stick with Cantillon or Drie Fonteinen.

Dark Red pour. aroma is sweet cherry, coughdrop. Mouthfeel is a bit heavy, Flavor lacks any real funkiness, mostly sweet cherry cough syrup with a bit of tart barrel. Fell a little flat for me
