pinker than the Pink panthers mother...aroma is rich cherry. cough syrup.spice . fat sugars. The character is on the syrupy, sweet side . Not overly tart . Suggestions of marzipan. Again with the cough syrup texture. Lacks the style and flair of their Frambroise , but its a plesant girly-beer.

Poured dark redish brown, CO2, cherries, funky, nice malt base, wood, little vanilla, little nutty.

UPDATED: JAN 16, 2012 A: Deep red body with a tight pinkish head. Spotty lacing left behind on the glass.

S: Super sweet cherries. Think like ring pop cherry. Only the slightest hint of funkyness.

T: If you thought the nose was sweet, get a load of the taste. Ring pop cherry sweetness meets medicinal cherry robitussin.

M: Medium to light bodied... sweet throughout... cloying by the time you are finishing the bottle.

[B}O: In the end this is one sweet cherry bomb. I think some people might appreciate the sweetness more than I do. In the end I just think this lacks the refinement and subtlety that makes good krieks one of my favorite beers.

Pours deep dark red with a thick pink head; aroma is cherry toffeish: sweetish and minimal sour; flavor of unsweetened dark cherries is slightly sour turning a bit rotten fruity and bitter towards the finish; light-medium body, high carbonation. The cherry-flavor isn’t as fine or strong as in the best ones.

Pours a clear pinkish red with very light white head. Aroma is cherry cough syrup and brown sugar. Flavor is dried cherry with vanilla and oak. Body is light with mild carbonation.

Pours deep red on tap at Muddy Pig, aroma is big sweet cherries with a touch of oak. Taste is like cherry pie syrup without the syrupy mouthfeel, no tannic presence, and a slight dry finish. Way too sweet and not much else other than cherry.

Sample at The Great Lambic Summit. Had this before, could’ve sworn I rated it, but 2oz is all you need... Really dark red body, thin pink head. Lightly medicinal, overly sweet cherry with a bit of yogurt. Flavor is a mess with cherry syrup, spice, and hints of diacetyl undermining even the simplistic flavor. Blech

[Lambic Summit] Murky red color with a small, pink head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of wood, and medicinal sweet cherry. Taste was basically the same, the taste was cloying, and there was some nuts, and a fair amount of wood. Higher carbonation.
