Bottle from Stockman, Oulu. ABV 4%. Clear red colour. Obviously cherry aroma and taste. Not very sweet, not very sour either. A bit watery and short aftertaste.

Very modest cherry flavor, and only slightly sour. I was disappointed. Red color with only a bit of cloudiness.

Fra fat på Brouwerij F. Boon i Lembeek: Stopp 4 på Tour de Geuze 1 Mai 11. Rødfarget. Rosa skum. Kraftig søt kirsebæraroma med litt mandler. Smaken det samme. Tilløp til fruktig bitter ettersmak. Litt tørr.

Like a sparkling Burgundy in colour to the pinkish white head that sits like spun marshmallow on top of the beer. Perfumy sour cherry scents that are sweet and girlish. Flavours are of obvious stonefruit and berries that start out sweet and then the sharpness builds at the sides and back of the mouth, sitting elegantly and moorishly. Easily drinkable and eminently enjoyable.

Bottle @ Henrik, Bergen. Pours a dark ruby-hued pink body with a medium, creamy pink head. Nose is cherries, sugar, gooseberries and lime, with hints of stomach acid. Taste is sweet cherries again with hints of lime. Too one-dimensional and sweet for me.

375 mL bottle. Pours a deep red with fluffy pink head. The aroma is obvious cherry, some spicy oak, hay, some musty character; the cherry scent gets richer as it breathes. The flavor is cherry with a little bit of acidic twang to it. There is some musty brett notes, but it’s quite subdued. The finish is somewhat mineral. Not bad I guess, but I’d rather have more wild character and less fruitiness.

Bottle at ØlKonsortiet. Clear red with a pink head. Aroma is just full of sweet cherries and almonds, marzipan, Danish cherry sauce, I don’t get any yeast notes, just pure cherry. Taste is sweet cherry, slightly sour, maybe cherry peel and slightly yeast, but mostly just the sweet cherry and candy notes. The taste is really nice, but just not what I want from a lambic.

Bottle @ Ølkonsortiet christmas beer tasting. Pours deep red with a small dimishing pink head. Aroma of sour cherries, cherry stones, almond, Artificial cherry candy. Taste is more sweet than sour / tart with sugar, sour cherries, almond, sweets. Thin body, soft carbonation. Quite sweet, but not bad in anyway. 051111
