3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Sofajoern (146) - DENMARK - JAN 3, 2008
Deep red colour with big pink head. Lots of cherries in the aroma, with hints of almonds. Very sweet with only a passing bitterness at the very end.

375ml bottle, 2005: nice deep red color with a small pink lasting head. Cherries abound in the taste and aroma with more sweetness than I anticipated although not as sweet as the Lindemans and certainly not as sour as Cantillon. Ligfht carbonation. Once the sweetness disappears, there’s a mild bitter finish. Ver good.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 TrefwoordPunk (652) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - DEC 16, 2007
Bottle 37,5 CL (Crop 2006). Pours an almost clear purple with a tan head with pink notes. Smell has mainly cherry, but not as overwhelming as some other lambics, and some butter. Taste also mildly sweet cherry and some sourness and butter. Not bad at all, but there are lambics I like far more
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Roffe (10) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - DEC 11, 2007
A great Kriek from Belgium, I love the pink head and the lack of sweetness that alot of the kriek has. Had it on tap at Delerium in Gothenburg and will be back for more...
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Bartzilla (474) - San Diego, California, USA - DEC 8, 2007
Draft, Engelbewaarder, Amsterdam. Looks, smells and tastes like a nice, tart, cherry pie. Except it’s a lambic. It’s beer. It’s tasty and chicks go nuts over this. Never had it on draft until this stop of the DMBT tour, but it sure was remarkable.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 EithCubes (3050) - GERMANY - DEC 6, 2007
Bottle, corked and caged in green glass. Mine says 5% abv. Big cherry aroma, slightly candyish and not really all that sour. Nice and fleshy! A little dust and a good helping of malt. Deep, dark burgundy-red with a fluffy, rocky, thick and lasting, light pink head - gorgeous. Taste is fairly well balanced, perhaps a touch too sweet, but by no means cloying, and in the end extremely drinkable! Medium body. Not really all that lambic-y, and though the level of fruit in the taste remains high, it’s not really cherry. And not really tart or sour - but still, good fun.

Cork exploded and almost took my head off but the beer made up for it! fruity nose with a slightly tart crisp cherry flavour with a dry finish that I find really appetizing.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 sayravai (4522) - Helsinki, FINLAND - NOV 24, 2007
(Bottled, 0.375l, 4.0% ABV) Hazy, deep ruby color with a smallish, pink, quite lasting and lacy head. Sweet, very strong cherry-candy aroma with some earthy hints in the background. Moderately sweet, but not cloying cherry flavor with some tartness and cherry stones. Light to medium-bodied, quite low-carbonated, slightly fizzy and acidic palate. Not complex, and a bit tasteless, but pretty well-balanced as a sweetish dessert beer.
