Hazy deep ruby body with a fluffy light pinkish head. Aroma of candied cherries, cotton candy, and a very light underlying hint of oak and brett. I’m rather under-whelmed… no sourness… a rather Non-traditional Lambic... but the wife loves the stuff.

25 cl bottle. Deep purple red beer with a thick pink head. Lots of fresh sweet raspberry aroma. Not of lot of wildness at all, but a sweet straightforward juicy beer. There is a hint of earthiness and light tartness on the back of the throat. A fairly pleasant confection.

Clear red towards light brown look with a light pink head. Aroma of sour wild fermentation and of course cherry, but in a natrual not completly dominating way. The cherry flavor is nicely balanced in this one, lots of sour notes are detected and an ok tartness. Not too sugery either. Good one

I didn’t like this rather flat Kriek.
Beautiful deep magenta red appearance with a pinkish head. Aroma is cherries, sharp and a little bit woody, each sniff washed with a small wave of acidity.
Tastes like lemonade, everything really numbed out by the sugar. Becomes very watery after drinking this a while, the inferior carbonation not helping this. Couldn’t half finish the 375ml bottle. I honestly have a hard time figuring out anything else to say about this beer.
I don’t even think this is a good one for your first fruit lambic, it is just too sweet and watery for the style.

WBF. Pinkish pour with a pink head. The aroma is cherry, sour, spice, acidic. Sweet cherry flavor with some spice, a tad acidic. Crisp carbonated palate.

0.375 bottle. My first fruit lambic, so it will be hard to rate. Dark clear red body with somewhat reddish head. Aroma of cherry, flavor cherry with lambic feeling in the background. High carbonation on the palate of course. Not my type of beer I don’t like those fruit things but definitely not bad.

poured into tulip. pours a dark red cherry color with full frothy pink head, sweet sour cherry aroma. fizzy carbonated full mouthfeel. very fruity/cherry initial, with sweetness thruought to fruit on the finish and aftertaste. very well rounded and impressive, subtle, straitforward, yet complex.. very good kriek and easy to drink.

UPDATED: MAR 31, 2008 Draught in Kaisla, Helsinki. Strong citrus aroma, tart and spicy. Dark brown, small pink head. Taste quite sweet, with a fruity finish.
