Appearance: deep ruddy pour, with a bright pink fizzy head. Aroma: sweet and sour/tart candy, blast of cherries, raspberries, hint of sweat socks. Taste: sweet-tart cherries, with good notes of sour wood barrels and darkish malts. Finish: tart, dry and sweet. Notes: A kriek is probably my favorite fruit beer. This is a solid example.

Bottle, found it for dirt cheap at a grocery store in bruges. It pours a nice bright red, the beer is sweet and overall it not bad, good offering

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Cherry vimto aroma. Ruby red colour, fine pink head. Dry red berry flavour, sour aftertaste. Don’t normall like cherry but this one grew on me.

Pours reddish brown with a medium head. Nice balance between sweet and tart flavors. Good for a change of pace or for an SO that’s not a beer drinker.

Bottle. The strong smell of cherries, quite sweet. The small fizzy red head disappears fast, the body is dark red. A strong taste of cherries, quite dry in the mouth. The body is rather light, fizzy and dry with a lively carbonation.

Same bottle as pictured. Poured dark red with little head that retained. Very sweet with a little bit of cherries and fruit flavours. Nice and light.

Cristo avrei dovuto saperlo, orco maialone, che la vera è la oude mentre questa è uno sciroppo; ma l’oblio ricopriva i miei occhi, e quindi ecco che siam finiti sciroppati. Almeno non costava tanto da Fusari...

Bottle. Reddish color, small and fully diminishing head. Moderate, sweet and very fruity aroma with cherries and some berries, faint sourness. Body is medium, sweetish and fruity flavor, cherries and some sourness. Finish is average, sweetish with some sourness, some cherry fruitiness. Sweetish and lightly sour kriek for your girlfriend -”contains sweetener”.
