(375ml bottle best by 3-24-2014) cloudy deep red, creamy pinkish-tan head. Nose of real sweet cherry, oak, and some tart cherry lurking in the back. Not very complex but smells good. Taste of lightly tart fake cherry, light oak, a bit light in flavor, slight artificial sweetener, and a crey body with an oddly soft carbonation. Watery on the palate a bit which is odd for a fruit lambic. If someone made a fruit lambic "light" this would be it.

375ml bottle. Pours with only a small hiss on opening into what could be described as black cherry with some degree of cloudiness, There is a decent head to start with, this then mostlyfalls away but leaves a thin layer where it touches the glass. The nose has black cherries with some element of prunes, in fact it has the aroma of throat lozenges to be more precise. The taste has loads of black cherries, then creaminess, followed by the long sour finish. The palate is pretty big initially, then there’s a creamy finish with a long dry refreshing finish - great as the balance between cherry sweetness and lambic sourness is totally there. Overall, this is very enjoyable.

Better than the framboise. Reddish beer with a pink head. Aromas of sweet cherries, quite nice. Tastes of very sweet cherries, wine, some licorice, all ending on an acidic note. A decent lambic.

Bottle--my first Lambic. I didn’t notice as much carbonation as other reviewers. My cork only popped slightly. Nice ruby red color with a slight pink head that didn’t last. Aroma was full of cherries. The taste was all cherries with some yeast. Palate was a bit champagne like with fewer bubbles. Produce place 5.49 ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. This a beautiful beer, especially to look at! It is clear deep red with an impressive pink head. The aroma is cherries, real cherries, and some hints of other tangy fruitiness. It has a smooth champagne-like carbonation giving great mouthfeel. The taste starts with tangy cherries and of other tart fruit and gradually the tartness softens to a candy sweetness - still with cherries! A wonderful kriek.

375mL corked bottle. Cork flew several feet off bottle indicating good carbonation. Poured ruby red with loads of pinkish head. Smells of cherries and oak. Tastes of cherries and oak and some yeast, mostly tart. Medium body. Overall, a very nicely done fruit beer.

On tap at the Ginger Man in Norwalk, CT. Served in a wine glass. Reviewed from notes. Pours a bright red color. Somewhat dark, though still bright. Light pink head. Starts out at a single finger and some pretty good retention. The nose carries some fragrant cherries, though there’s only a mild tartness and no funk. The flavor is all cherry and tastes too sweet. Nothing there to balance it out and no real indication that this is a lambic. Medium body with good carbonation. Fairly sweet. Mildly tart. Decent enough on a hot day, but nowhere near what a lambic should be. Serving type: on-tap

Pours a dark ruby with a red head. Aroma is, of course, cherry. Taste is also cherry and quite acidic. Not very dry. Not very complex and a little too acidic for my taste but overall not bad and pretty refreshing.
