COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Kriek Boon is a traditional Belgian Lambic fruit-beer. It is brewed according to the traditional Lambic style of spontaneous fermentation. Only fresh cherries (25%) are used. Kriek Boon is slightly sweet, with the surprising natural fragrance of sourcherries and almonds. With only 4% of alcohol it is a perfect summer beer.

Served at Dopey’s Elixer. Poured from bottle. Pours red brown with a three finger head. Cherries on the nose and cherry flavor. Slightly tart and sour. Decent.

Bottle, 37.5cl. Pours a cassis color, subtle foam head. Very nice aromas of sour cherries, gentle sweetness. Taste equals the aromas: short sweetness from the cherries, large sour middle (beautifully executed), cherry sweet aftertaste. Good kriek (considering I am not a fan of sweet beers).

Aroma: cookie and molasses, massive cherries. Appearance: reddish, small creamy red head. Taste: moderate sweet. Palate: medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, average-long bitter finish. Overall: very nice Kirek, quite sweet. Pint at the GBBF 2014, Kensington.

Best by 03MAY16 Pours a dark, deep sanguine red on purple with some scattered pink bubbles. Smells like Bing cherries - furrreal. Flavor follows with plenty of cherry flavor, rather sweet with some bits of tart in the background and plenty more cherry. Light bodied with moderate carb and a dry finish. Good enough. Like that it is the Bing character.

Bottle. Just a small taster of this one, but it sure packs some punch! Nice sour cherry flavour, slightly sweet but very drinkable.

Bottle shared by a friend. Smell is very sweet and light and has tones of cherry. Pours wine red with a small pink head. Taste is sweet, light and fruity. Palate is a bit bland and too sweet. Overall an okay beer for a warm summer day / evening but too sweet for my taste.

Een van de lekkerste, zoniet de lekkerste kriek dat ik ooit al gedronken heb. Zoet, maar niet te zoet

TPSA. Pours a rich, dark red with a pronounced rose-pink head. Nose is rich cherry pie filling, though not overly strong. Cherry flavor is predominant, and it’s sweeter than the framboise; it’s not out of balance, though, and there’s just a hint of skin/pit bitterness to cut it. Finish is very, very long. Delicious.
