Good mix between sweet and sour. Fresh lambick with strong cherry taste. One of the best lambicks in my opinion.

Beautiful color, deep cherry. Little head that vainshes realatively quick. Faint, almost non-exsistent bubble, slightly viscous. Smells and tasts of cherry, dissapointingly not sour. Great on a hot day like today. This would be good poored over some good vanilla ice cream

Poured crimson with no head. There was a nice cherry, fruity aroma with a little bit of horse blanket underneath. Not overwhelmingly fruity, but nice. The flavor was dominantly fruity, cherry with some nice vinous qualities. Overall, this is a heavy fruit beer and not for those who dislike fruity beers. I thought it was pretty good, more like champagne.

Hands down my favorite of all the fruit lambics I’ve tried. Smells a bit fruity, as it should, but it’s not overly sweet or tart. Super drinkable and well-made!

1998 crop, 750ml bottle. Gentle cherry aroma with typical lambic notes and as it warms an almondy/cherry stone aroma develops. Cherry red, almost damson purple with a cherry blossom pink head. Moderate but persistent condition. Good cherry/sour tastes int the mouth with neither overpowering and a zingy refreshing aftertaste.

Hooollyy Shit!!! I just barely loosened the cage and the cork freaking blew the cage right out of my hand. Scared the ever living crap out of me. Vintage 2003. I guess this one is OK. At least it smells OK. TONS of carbonation. Almost too much so. I’m afraid it’s getting too hot while I wait for the 6+ inches of head to die down. Now onto the flavor. Damn this is tasty. Not to sour or tart. Just the right amount of sourness to make me want to take another sip. Nice tingly palate to boot. Highly refreshing. Reminds me of the cheery sours I used to eat bags full of while at the University Park pool during the summers. Well done Lodewijk! This is one hell of a start!

Bottle [12oz] shared with HogTownHarry & garthicus -- c/o HogtownHarry. Pours a murky cherry-red with a small diminishing frothy pinkish-white head. Aroma: Yeah, love it! Lots of sweet and tart cherries along with funky yeast and citrus. Delicious flavour, again of sweet and tart cherries along with some light sugary sweetness and a hint of oak-- so easy to drink. Medium bodied. A truly fantastic beer!

From a 375ml bottle. Cork explodes from the bottle and bounces off my ceiling fan. Fortunately, no spillage. Pours an opaque purply-pink color into my goblet. A rocky, dense head of pinkish foam. Lots of fine lace. Smell is sweet cherry, some funk following up and spice. Some sour barnyard aromas underneath. Taste is dominated by sweet red cherry. Some sourness follows and a bit of driness in the finish to balance out the sweeet. Some tartness and a hint of funk underneath that big sweet cherry flavor. The mouth is sticky sweet but tempered by the dry finish. A bit fizzy on the tongue. All in all a good drinking lambic. Maybe a touch sweet but enough complexity to keep it interesting.
