Your typical geuze smell: citrus, musty, autumn forest floor.
Taste is less impressive than what the smell seemed to promise, a bit tart, some sourness (apple?), hint of bitter, but all very low-key.
Nice carbonation, light, very drinkable.
All in all, worth repeating.

Bottle share from Paul (2009), golden pour with almost no head. Aroma is some musty yeast, taste falls flat, off flavors, vinegar.

Schiuma compatta e persistente,dal colore oro,non troppo limpida.profumi di mele,limoni,legno,pepe..al gusto un buon acido avvolgente,con un discreto corpo....bevuta in bottiglia 37,5 vintage del 2006..

750 ml. corked bottle. 2009 Vintage opened today. Pours amber color with a short white head that remains. Funky, yeasty aromas blended with citrus. Very tart and sour. Dry hoppy finish.

2008 vintage, straight from Switzerland... Thanks Nate! Smells of funky citrus and chardonnay. Taste is sour orange and quite tart. Nice carbonation and dry finish.

375ml bottle. 2007 consumed in 2013. 6 years old. Cork comes out hard and with a loud pop. Pour with plenty of carbonation. Color is melon orange with only a ring of white. Aroma is quite sour with a little hint of ginger. Flavor is just as sour. Still a ginger taste, which is odd. Still delicious.

Hazy hay, white head. Aroma: funky lemon, slightly sulfuric, barnyard, nice! Taste: sour apples, lemon, barnyard, some hay. Nice and solid geuze!
