Pours a hazy amber/blond with a nice flufy head. Aroma of funk, barnyard, little herbal, lemony. Taste is quite good. Lots of barnyard, lemon, little hay. Little body. A very refreshing and surprising geuze. Will have again for sure. .

A 2008 bottle.
I like the heavy sourness. It was hard to define the aroma. The only thing I could thin off was apple. I also liked the fizzy carbonation.

375ml bottle, 2007 vintage. BB date of 10.09.2030. Pours hazy orange with medium white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is has extreme acidic sourness and some earthiness. Taste is extremely funky and sour with citrus fruit and vinegar notes. Dry tart finish. Enjoyable gueuze.

Bottle from mane liquor. Hazy orange vibrant pour with a small white head. Nose has lots of funk, tart sourness and lemon zest. Taste is half beer half champagne! Champ bubble mouth feel with a nice geuze presence. Light sweet fruits and sour apples appear in the taste. High carbonation but works well. Great beer

Pour nicely, foam well and disappear slowly, smell like a Gueuze but doesn’t make me salivate, taste like a Gueuze but it doesn’t have the refinement of other Boon beers.

Feel the funk!
2008 75cl bottle from QVID.be (€5), pours cloudy into a De Cam tumbler, big bubbly head and an aroma to put hairs on your chest.
The taste is so tart on first sip that I nearly shiver but the depth of the palate leads me to my happy place.. This is great gueuze, heavier than many others in alcohol content.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 TheCametron (1296) - CZECH REPUBLIC - MAR 4, 2013
Bottle. 2008 job. Pours Slightly hazy Golden with a diminishing White head. Acidic gag reflex. It’s funky, tart and lemony citric. A real crispness to it backed up by the tight, champagne-like bubbles. Very dry, classic Geuze flavour. Went down a real treat.
