Bottle from Crown Liquors, Indianapolis. 2009 vintage. Pours a hazy orange body with floating swirls of sediment and an inch of off-white head that recedes quickly to a rim of froth. The nose is sour as all hell. Flavors continue on the sour route with notes of green apple, pear, lemon, vinegar, yeast, and an aftertaste of apple peels. Medium body and lively carbonation. Excellent.

From bottle at The Upper Lip. 2008 vintage. Clear yellowish golden color. Super-funky basement and head cheese aroma. Taste is yeasty basement funk and light tart citrus. Very refreshing and sweetly tart finish.

Color amarillo paja con bastante turbidez. No mucha espuma pero persiste la poca que le queda. Aroma y sabor intenso, notas a manzana. Muy acida obviamente.

Bottle at Lowlander. Had this many times but never rated! Lovely light gold muddy pour with decent head and plenty micro bubbles. Aroma is grassy, sour lemon, attic. Mouthfeel medium dry with longlasting tartness. Taste is lemon, dry vinous touch. Wonderful on a hot day. Or any other for that matter.

Corked and caged 375 ml bottle at home, 2008 Vintage, into a big Chouffe glass, ABV 8% Hazy pour, deep orange golden in colour, with a big fluffy head, slighty off-white in colour, with average retention, leaving light lacing on the glass. Aroma is grape-y, with old wood notes. Light sour taste, fruity, with white grapes, light apple juice. Medium thin body, quite carbonated, tart on the palate without becoming extreme. Overall an easy drinking gueuze, nice and refreshing. Difficult to choose between this and the "normal" Boon gueuze.

37,5cl bottle, 2008 at home. Poured a murky orange colour with a bigger small of white head. First note of a sweet sugary smell, murky sour notes, Apples, vinegar, white grape, earth tones, oak, lemon Peel, small unplesant aftertaste. Regular oude geuze from boon is better for me.

12.7oz bottle shared. Pots a cloudy yellow with white head. Aroma is sour. Tart, and funky. Classic gueze. The flavor is wonderful. Starts off tart followed by sour and then dry. Got some mild Brett and funkiness. This is really good.
