Bottle, 2005 vintage, 04/09/2012. Opens explosively, watch your hands. Pours cloudy dull golden orange, ample head dies down to half a finger’s width and remains a foamy blanket across the liquid. Aroma is pretty nice, very fruity with tart apples, grapes, and grapefruit, white vinegar, light oak mustiness, horse blanket and lemony edge. Taste leans more towards sour white fruit, not as sweet, with bitter funkiness, bleu cheese, rounded with citrus notes. Palate is smooth, dry, well carbonated but more full than champagne, not overly acidic. Wonderful geuze.

Flaska @ Akkurat. Gyllene bärnstensfärgad vätska. Tydliga aromer av jäst och jord. Syrlig smak. Lång eftersmak.

Love the cheese. Mood swings. Don’t love them. Searching for Lambics is a pain. Stroppy wives and no Lambics. End of days.

Temptation (126) - - MAY 9, 2013
Golden amber color, not transparent nor cloudy, hazy. White, fluffy and permanent head. Earthy and yeasty aroma, not too strong, with subtle notes to fruits, white wine, cider and champagne. It improves in mouth, more complex, dry, tart, acid, with reminiscences of green apples, spices, yeast and typical champagne. The overall is spicy, dry, longlasting, refreshing and pretty good. No trace of alcohol. Very good.

750 ml. bottle. Pours a hazy light gold with a nice white head. Aroma of citrus, grain, and grass. Taste is lemons, apples, malt, and grass. Finishes tart. Some alcohol comes through at the finish. Very nice.

Smells sour and soggy. Gold, opaque, with a bunch of crud yeasty floating around. A lot of crud. Tastes a little sour, but not too much. An ok beer thing.
