(2008) Yellow color. Very lively--like champagne. Intense Brett (barnyard) & fruit aroma. Tastes of brett, almost more like a wine than beer. Tart & refreshing--hints of lemon, peach, maybe slight bubblegum. Alcohol about 8%, but not really noticeable due to so many other flavors going on. Yeasty dregs at bottom of bottle. If you haven’t tried it, it’s worth seeking out to find out what lambic is all about.

375ml bottle, 2011. Pours hazy gold. Lots of barnyard, hay and sweat in the aroma. Taste is cheese, funk, custard. Smooth and tart with layers of complex maturation. A beard-stroker. Marvellous.

Farbe: Dunkelgelb orange Schaum: feine Schicht.

Buon lambic.

smells sour grapes, cloudy gold with some white foam head, tastes like a smooth sour wine with some slight carb.

Gran bella birra!

500ml bottle from private import. Aroma: wild yeast, apples, tartness. App: cloudy golden with medium white head, good retention, little lacing. Great colour. Taste and palate: thin to medium body, medium high carbonation, fluffy, moderate dry acidity (and salty) finish. Overall: quite good. Even though this is tart and sour this is quite smooth. Really easy to drink. Highly drinkable. I’m glad I still have a few of this one.
