(2008) Yellow color. Very lively--like champagne. Intense Brett (barnyard) & fruit aroma. Tastes of brett, almost more like a wine than beer. Tart & refreshing--hints of lemon, peach, maybe slight bubblegum. Alcohol about 8%, but not really noticeable due to so many other flavors going on. Yeasty dregs at bottom of bottle. If you haven’t tried it, it’s worth seeking out to find out what lambic is all about.

Aroma: sour apples, pepper, white wine Appearance: murky yellow, lasting head retention, lively bubbles Taste: tart, tannic bitterness, peaches, soft sour, suprisingly bitter Palate: light to medium body, tingling tannins, lively carbonation Overall: very nice sour with a good balance of sour. Pithy bitterness was a bit off for me but really loved the sour balance and funkiness

Hazy golden orange color, medium white head. Aroma of citrus, sour fruits, yeast, grass. Sour lightly sweet taste with subtle bitterness in finish. Light body and strong carbonation. Nice sour beer, sourness is not very aggressive and well balanced, quite enjoyable.

Light hazy amber, with a thin vanishing head. Typical aromas, very round. Compared to other geuze it is not very sour and lightly alcoholic.

I like the cherry version of this one better, but this is good as well. Hazy pale golden color. Quickly subsiding white head. Little lacing left behind. Funky aroma mixed with lemon and leather. Taste is a tart, sour blend of the same.

Pours hazy orange with a fizzy white head. Aroma is cheese, horse blanket, lemon, must, lactic. Taste is pretty tart up front, sharp, tangy, funky with must, goes to sour lemon juice then turns to a more lemon and orange zest fast and finishes nice and dry. Very good geuze.
