Old rating rerated 20.10.2014, 0,375l bottle (2010 vintage) shared with a colleague @ hotel room in Ulsteinvik:
Small slightly fizzy mediumlasting head. Aroma is mild sour-ish grassy, wet hay, oak, dried sour-ish fruits, sour socks, sorrel, hints of butterscotch and dried tropical fruits. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish, oak, heather, berry skin, harsh grass, sour socks, medicine, wood, bark, sorrel, hints of butterscotch. Medium bitterness, dry slightly harsh mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Nephilium (1374) - Ohio, USA - OCT 25, 2014
(2010 vintage) Tart acidic aroma, with just a hint of funk and fruit. Pours a hazy orange with a growing huge white head. Sour, complex, and refreshing. Thereís the nice sharp bite there with enough carbonation to cut through most foods. Light on the palate with a lingering sour note. This is a fine example of the style, and one you should try if you like sours.

tmoreau (2481) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - OCT 24, 2014
Shared 2009 750 ml. bottle poured to snifters, showing a hazed, orangey gold color, with frothy, soft white head foam, and spotty lacing. The aroma was funk, tartness, light fruit, citrus, a hint of sweetness, and light spice. Light to medium bodied with lively carbonation, the taste was as the nose, plus lightly sour, with some alcohol presence that wasnít necessarily warming, but interacted well, dry finishing, and quite a refreshing palate cleanser.

kermis (5452) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - OCT 23, 2014
Bottle, 2008 vintage. Canít believe this is the first time rating this one! Pours a lively clear dark golden with a big white head. Aroma explodes with citrus and funk while being poured and sitting on the table. Very dusty, dank, cobwebby and old cellar on closer inspection, still with the citrus and big funky notes. Flavor is light to light moderate sweet and moderate to heavy sour, citrus fruits on the palate and major funky, barnyard and horse blanket notes coming out. Medium bodied with light moderate carbonation. I expected this to be pretty decent, but itís better than my expectations. Certainly at this vintage itís an excellent Geuze.

Sour grapes on aroma...thin sparkling body. Flavors of citrus and wood. Acidic aftertaste. Very nice Lambic beer.

Enegaard (57) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - OCT 21, 2014
Bottle, 2010. For me this is a very straight, middle of the road sour. Super delicious, but in the light of other sours Iíve had recently, this one seems a bit too straight forward for me to turn back to. But Iíd always enjoy it and recommend it to anyone who wants a good, sour, funky Gueuze.

Bebida no restaurante Cambrinus em Brugges. Aroma ácido e frutado, cítrico. No sabor, a acidez é evidente, seguindo de um frutado. Excelente. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

375ml bottle served in a Pecheresse flute glass. Vintage 2008. A: Pours a bit cloudy, dark orange color forming a huge fizzy, bubbled and aired white head. Great retention in a flute and some soapy lacings formed and left in the glass S: Fruity and tart . Mainly white grapes and Lambic yeasts. Sweet malts and some metallic notes T: Follows the nose. A mild sweet fruity upfront followed by a tart and mild bitter end. Again, strong notes of white grapes, sweet malts malts and Lambic yeasts. M: Light body. Good carbonation. Tart and mild bitter aftertaste O: Easy drinking beer, you cannot feel the 8% here. Classic Belgian Gueuze in all the aspects. Excellent beer [ BA Review @ 7/17/2012 ]
