golubj (995), Redwood City, California, USA Sep 6, 2008 2003 Bottle. Gold pour with some off-white head. Aroma is woody and a little funky; actual not very powerful. Flavor is the same, lightly tart and funky, but a fair amount of sweet malt remains. Probably not as dry as it should be. Scauca (245), Lovere, Italy Sep 5, 2008 Rather amber appearance with a little white head. Very leathery and woody, fruity, with a mellow tartness. ogivlado (2346), Zagreb, Croatia Sep 1, 2008 Bottled(375ml). -from In de Wildeman.
Clear golden coloured, small white head, dry strong sour apple nose. Sweet and sour light metallic taste with notes of green apple. Also not so pleasant sulphorish notes. Some odd pistachio notes in long lasting acidic aftertaste. Complex and great beer. So far the best Boon Oude beer that I’ve tried. best before end 14.12.2026 alobar (630), Allentown, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 23, 2008 Big head. Lots of carbonation. Aroma of yeast and apple.
