12 oz. bottle. Pours a cloudy peach color with a soft, bubbly, off-white head. Aromas of pear, tart apple, a touch of yeast, grass, and apple cider vinegar. Highly carbonated with a light, dry mouthfeel. Tart apple, floral notes, strong earthy bitterness, a bit of lime, and a sort of a dry dustiness on the palate. Short finish with some lingering apple and pear notes. Overall okay, but a little light in the flavor department.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 VTHopHead (1340) - Barre, Vermont, USA - JUN 28, 2009
Bottle - Pours a cloudy darkish amber in color with a very champagne-like foamy white head that fades to just cover the beer. Aroma is malty with plenty of a Belgian-like yeastiness.... character of wine apparent... with some fruitiness (citrus). Flavor is quite acidic with citrus being the dominant characteristic. Some yeastiness. A bit too sour for my tastes, but quite complex and good...

Source: 375 mL bottle at the Porterhouse in Dublin. Glass: Flute. Appearance: Cloudy yellow pour with a one finger white head. Head quickly dissipates into a few bubbles. Aroma: Oak and citrus on the nose. Mainly lemons and limes. Flavor: Very tart. Almost astringent. Lemons and limes seem to dominate. Palate: Light body with solid carbonation. Overall: Love the style. This one wasn’t particularly great, but still a good drink.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Finwe (180) - Grankulla, FINLAND - JUN 15, 2009
75 cl bottle at Pikkulintu. Golden yellow colour with a vanishing white head. Sour aroma reminding of citrus fruits. The taste is dry with a lot of acid: the Brettanomyces has played its part well. Kiss your enamel goodbye.

Bottle thanks to dchmela. Bright golden light orange pour with gauzy white big head that recedes but sticks around. Tart oaky nose with notes of lemons, acetic flavors, and yeast. Not nearly as tart as the Boon Marriage Parfait. Still pretty tasty.

Pours a bright hazy gold with a one finger white head. The nose shows some tartness and acidity, yeasty, some funk, mild phenolic. Flavor is tart and acidic, mildly astringent, doesn’t have it going on. Yeasty. Tart acidic palate. Decent.
