COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Geuze, a mixture of old and young Lambic. The young Lambic is added to cause a refermentation in the bottle making for a delightfully sparkling and dry beer that has been likened, in all seriousness, to Champagne.

(bottle, from brew season 2003-2004) Hazy golden colour, white head, sediment in the bottle. Smells of citrus and wood. Tart apples as well. I also notice very subtle vanilla notes and some basement aromas. Medium bitter and - of course - quite sour, but not too much. Carbonation is maybe a bit too soft, finish a bit astringent and abrupt. Still very nice!

37,5 cl bottle @ Gastropub Tuulensuu. Rated on 25.09.2010
Tasted in blind tasting with 13 other gueuzes, this one placed 9.
Big, foamy head. Dark orange colour. Slight sourness in the aroma with earthy notes. Flavour is slightly sour with spices. Too much CO2 on palate.

Frothy white head over an orange body. Clear sour notes, grapes, lemon and cereal. Balanced sour taste, quite easy to drink actually and a body that’s very pleasant - not as thin as some geuzes. Really like it! (375ml bottle)

Bottle at a pub in Lier, Belgium. It poured a clear golden liquid with a white head. Sour with some fruits, mainly apples. Fresh taste. A very fresh gueze.

09.10.2011. 0,375l Bottle. www.vinmonopolet.no. Pale golden yellow colour with sparkling white head. Aroma is sour with notes of some kind of lemon flavours. Very refreshing beer. A little thin body. Aroma dominated by yeast and there is not as much flavours af malt and hops. Very good beer!

Golden, white head. Fairly cirric aroma (grapefruit). A citric sour taste, not too complex though, a typical geuze.
