COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Geuze, a mixture of old and young Lambic. The young Lambic is added to cause a refermentation in the bottle making for a delightfully sparkling and dry beer that has been likened, in all seriousness, to Champagne.

Thanks to hopdog. Pours a hazy golden amber with a large frothy lacing off white head. Aroma of green apple, tart cherries and a basement funk. Flavor was sour, a bit thin and funky. Some fermented apples and dry.

Taste courtesy of piscator34. Light straw colour. Nose is of light funk and citrus. Taste- quite tart with lemon and green apple. High carbonation as expected. Very refreshing and tasty gueze

Light orange in colour with spritzy carbonation. Aromas of horse blanket, lemon, and a bit of spice. Fairly tart in the mouth, but not overly sour. More horse blanket and lemon flavors, and even a little bit of stone fruit. A touch watery. A solid gueuze, but not as good (or as sour) as Cantillon or Girardin.

Draft, Engelbewaarder, Amsterdam. You’ve all had it. It’s delicious geuze. Maybe not right from the barrels, but this stuff rocks.

Thinner in body than some gueze with flavors lingering less. Bone dry and fun to drink but doesn’t stand up to some of its counterparts.

Very good spontaneous fermented beer. It has yellow-golden color, some acidic-sour flavour with a light sweetness, lightly carbonated geuze from Lembeek

Brouwseizoen 2004-2005, bottle 37,5 cl. Pours a cloudy golden with a medium white head and citrus and spice in the nose. Taste is sour, with some spices and sugar, finish is sour and a bit hoppy. An OK gueuze

Pours a yellow-golden color. Aroma is skunky and sour. Taste is sour with a vinegar and grape/apple mixture. Not as sour and complicated as I expected.
