Bottle from Theatre of Wine, Greenwich. Pours a cloudy red with a pink head. Aromas of redcurrants, a little vinous, sour cherries, acetic. Flavours of sour cherries, bit of funk, lemon, quite tart. Finishes sour with a tinge of sweetness. Good stuff.

Bottle. Pours a reddish golden beer with a large reddish head. The aroma is sweet, fruits and cherries. The flavor is fruit. The palate is dry and the beer has a low carbonationlevel. Overall a good fruity beer.

Bottle, 37,5 cl. a dark red hazy colour with a small, but lasting, dark pink head. Taste is one of cherries and sourness. The beer starts sour with the first gulps, but very soon the natural cherry-taste comes fully in your mouth, very well balanced with the sourness. A very good and easy-drinking beer, very refreshing.

Flaske: Årgang 2004. Flot lyserød uklar næsten uigennemsigtig øl med et flot lyserødt skum. Duften er svagt kirsebær med en del surhed og en smule stald. Smagen er forholdsvis kompleks med en tydelig aldring der gør at frugten næsten er forsvundet men dog har sat sit præg. Dejlig øl.

(bottle) pours a hazy dark purple colour with a fluffy pink head. dominant aroma of sweet cherry pulp, with light notes of citrus and earth. flavour is cherries and barnyard, with medium funk and a dry sour finish. light to medium body with lively carbonation.

Pours a dark red with a pink head. Aroma of sour cherries, and Brett. A strong tart sour cherry flavor with Brett characters. This is sweet and tart, sour and funky, overall pretty good.

Pours a dark copper/ black cherry color with a very faint pinkish off-white head. This looks authentic and not like a syrupy mess like many other "lambics" seem to. The frothy head has goodretention that eventually fades into lasting cap that leaves minimal streaks of lacing. Earthy oak aroma with beautiful musky horseblanket earthy funk notes with only some slight vinegary tartness. Real dark cherries dominate the aroma instead of the expected syrupy artifical sweetness. I could swear that I could even detect the cherry pits. I held the glass up sniffing it for several minutes salivating before I even took a sip. Lots of earthy oak flavor with nice tannis, wet horseblanket funky tart notes. While it is very tart, it isn’t overly acidic making it very well balanced and easy to drink. Sour/tart dark cherries with a lot of oak and vanilla masking the sweetness. Again I’m very excited about the lack of any artificial syrupy sweetness and the fruit characteristics are quite subtle. Very puckering and extremely refreshing with a perfect dry finish. I want to buy multiple cases of this beer.

Colore rubino brillante,torbidoabbondante schiuma rosa.Aroma molto fruttato, ciliegie,legno,noccioli di ciliegia. Gusto asciutto e aggressivo, ottimamente fruttato. Ottimo equilibrio totale.Davvero interessante.
