| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 26, 2007 My first REAL lambic. Pours a blood red color that is clean and has some sediment in the bottom of the bottle. Head is fizzy and pink. Smells of cherries and some barnyard funk. Taste is funky sour, sweet, and of cherries and wheat. Personally I have not yet acclumated my palate with the taste of wild yeast but I can still tell this is a quality brew. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Nov 16, 2007 375. Pours a deep ruddy brown with a sudsy, bubbly pink froth for a head. Super intense sour cherry nose blasts you from arm’s length, but settles down to a more palatable tart smackeriness after it aerates for a couple minutes. Medium body; tingly, almost fizzy carb. Sharp cherry dominates the flavor profile all the way through. Sour lingering finish. Tasty.
