Bright cherry-red color with a thin but somewhat sticky pink ring of foam on the surface. Funky, sour, mouthwatering cherry candy aroma with a hint of acetic acid, sour citrus fruits, and a bit of grainyness. Super sharp, sour flavors with a lot of woody mustiness, sour cherries, Fizzy, soft, champagne-like mouthfeel with a dry and slightly astringent finish. Great stuff, super easy to drink... very addictive!

From 37.5 cL bottle. Pours rosa with a light purple head. Aroma is sour cherries, very lovely and inviting and slight spiced. Flavour is very dry cherry sour. Immensely great brew.

Bottle 2004. Pours a deep muddy red with a funny-looking pink head. Aroma is sweet and fruity with plenty of cherries to go around. Flavour is sour with a clear definition of the berries - there is some barn and wood in there as well. Not my favourite lambic.

Bottle. Large fizzy red and lasting head. Light cloudy body with a red color. Aroma of raspberry, hint of grape and apple, light dusty vinegar like notes, some fruit and maybe a hint of barnyard and wood. Medium bodied with a sticky texture and an average carbonation. Moderate sour flavor with some fruity sweetness to balance it. Not that sour, the aroma left the impression of a heavy sour Lambic. Finish was light sour berries like notes. Quit nice.

Bottle (2003) at the ’Seventh Heaven’ in the small town of Beernem in Belgium, a deep cherry red with a pink bubbly head. A strong sour aroma with sweet cherries. A smooth palate for a lambic at first, with a good cherry flavour. A medium sourness builds in the finish. Very easy to drink.

Bottle Oude Arsanall Antwerp. Cloudy reddish colour with medium off pink head. Aroma - earthy, sour cherries, musty cobwebs. Sour cherry flavour with red wine vinegar long finish with tart cherry aftertaste. Sharp and pungent with tart lemony goodness. A good kriek but not one of my favourites

Ruby red colour, not much head. Cherries and wood in aroma. Dry and sour cherries in the flavour along with a big earthyness and some vinegar also mixed in. Pleasant, but lacks something.
