Bottle from 2000 @ Kulminator in Antwerp. Six years old on consumption. Deep red pour with a pink head. Nice sour cherry taste wihtout cloyingness. Good, soft but active mouthfeel. Tons of dry sourness, fantastic kriek.

Bottle enjoy by 10/5/2024: Pours a clear effervescent ruby red with a large, pillowy pinkish head. Aroma of sweet cherries with some tart yeasty funk and mild earthy barnyard character. Body starts with a light sweetness, quickly balance with tart fruity cherries and drying out toward the puckering finish. A nice, authentic cherry lambic, but might be slightly over-attenuated.

Bottled. 375ml. 5/10/2024 enjoy by date. pours a rich, burnt cherry color with an obnoxious pink head. Big brett cherry pie aromas with some cobweb and straw notes. At first the beer was extremely phenolic and almost undrinkable. Thankfully, it came around as it sat in the glass. Slight cherry flavors with a nice tartness. Low acidity, high carbonation. Nice dry flavor- how nice to drink a sour beer that isn’t dumbed down with sugar. Seems like it may even appeal to people who don’t necessarily like Lambic styles (LOL, I just read the rating ahead of mine) even though it seems to stay true to the style.

Pours out a wonderful red color. Has a nice pink head. Flavor is sour with a cherry finish. Lambics are something that im not a big fan of yet.

This lambic pours a hazy reddish brown color from a 375ml cork finished bottle. Large sized beige colored rocky foamed head, good lacing. Aroma is yeast, tart, cherries, cobwebs and must. A medium bodied lambic. Lots of tart (not sweet) cherry flavors, also lots of wood. Must and funk. Very vinous and very funky yet the cherry flavors really stand out nicely. Bone dry, brut like finish. Very nice beer. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is tart and crisp

color is pinkish rust, so murky it’s opaque. this is some heavy merkle! very tall dense foamy pinkish white head. aroma is tart cherries, wild yeast, and a "woman’s perspiration". flavor is sweetish-tart cherry, pretty smooth for a kriek. the low aciditiy is nice. mild carbonation. a bit burgundian. yeasty tartness in the finish. well done.

Bottled. Dark ruby to near purple in color. Small pink head. Nose is sour cherries, light sweat, barnyard, and gym socks. Taste is sour cherry, leather, barnyard, wet wood, cherry cough syrup and damp basement. Light sweetness to this. Body is tart and acidic with a pleasant dryness to it. Finishes with sour cherries, some sweetness, light barnayrd and a bit of earthiness.

375 ml. bottle. Pours a dark cherry red with a nice lasting pink head. Aromas of sweet cherries explode from the glass along with almonds and brett aromas from the lambic. On the palate the sourness is definately there, but there is also a nice sweetness from the fruity taste, not from residual sugar. Finishes of dry and well balanced with a nice soft cherry flavour before it ends with a snap of sourness. Very good.

Pours a cherry red color with a thick pink head. Sour cherry aroma with hints of straw and other barn like things. The sour cherry flavor sits on top of a fascinatingly funky drink. Hints of funky metal and hay keep this from being a sweet sugary alcopop. A solid lambic.

dark reddish colour with a rocky stable beige head; aroma of hay and cheese, crisp cherryish notes are coming through while the beer gets warmer; initially smooth but soon comes a solid acidity; medium-bodied, long acidic, dry and cheese-ish finish - a beautiful kriek and a perfect beer to celebrate the victory of Russia over Canada !
