375ml, pours deep red, cherry, sweet aroma, a bit of rotten. Tart, but sweetness is a bit subdued. Not bad.

37,5cl bottle. 2006 vintage. Pours deep ruby color, cannot see trough the glass, with a meidum rose head. Aroma is definitely sour cherries, horseblankets, white wine and some grassy-lemony aromas. Taste is quite acidic with a nice fruity presence. Little skunk and grassy notes. Very nice balance between fruity tart cherries notes and traditional lamic acidity. Body is medium with lively carbonation.

Shared bottle courtesy of tarjei. Clear red with a pink creamy head that disappates. Apples, raspberries, cherries and other berries in the aroma. Acidic fresh flavor with notes of berries and vinegar. Astringent. Medium bodied and a dry finish.

2008 Bottle sampled in early 2011. Great deep red coloured body with a strong hazy dark ruby glow and a thick fast-dying pink head. Simply beautiful. Aroma of pungent cherries, sour grapes, yeast and way more sour flavours - great and mouth-watering! Medium-bodied; Strong effervescence with a great pungent sour flavour at first with grapes and a little yeast behind with a BIG mouthful of sour cherries, light grapes and a good sweetnes for the style. Aftertaste pungent from the sourness with a good cherry sweetness that lasts a long time. Overall, easily one of the best beers I’ve had in Germany, Belgium and Holland this trip - a great beer that should be sampled by everyone! I sampled this 37,5 cL ’split’ bottle purchased from Cracked Kettle in Amsterdam, The Netherlands on 03-January-2011 for €4,65 sampled later in the day from my hotel room in Amsterdam, when I couldn’t find this beer at all in the whole of Bruxelles. Best by date of 21-January-2030!

This beer pours a deep red almost light purple with a light pink head. there is minimal lacing.
It smells very tart, slight notes of cherry and alcohol.
This beer is exceedintly tart from start to finish. I wish there was a touch of sweetness and it would take this from an average to outstanding lambic

2007 vintge bottle. Cherry red with thck pink head, beautiful. Subtle aroma of citrus, cherries, hint of wet leather. Taste tangy, dry, crisp sourness, cherries, cereal, hay, citrus, light spicy almond bitterness. Dry and lightly sour finish. Although quite sour drinks very well.
