| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 10, 2008 Deep dark pink with a huge light pink head. Aroma has quite a bit of depth, mainly dominated by cherry, but also has lambic character (horseblanket, funk.) Really like Boon’s style here, especially the concentrated fruit character. It’s loaded with lots of taste. I think I prefer this over most other Krieks. Boutip (2348), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 9, 2008 Bottle courtesy Beerlando: Poured a deep red color ale with a large foamy head with good retention but minimal lacing. Aroma of funky barnyard taste with some notes of sour cherries. Taste is a mix between some deep sour cherries with some tart notes and some funky barnyard notes as well. Oak was also noticeable but quiet subtle considering the amount of cherries in here. Full body with limited filtration and good carbonation.
