Bottle year 2000 edition. Pours hazy pink with medium pink head. Great aroma og cherry and alcohol mixed with the sourness. Cherries and green aplles in the mouth and to my taste the sourness and the sweetness is perfectly mixed. I loved it.

Small head pink head. Strong cherry aroma and some grenadine in the background. Very fruity flavor with the nice tartness one can expect from a good Oude Kriek. Green apples, citrus on top of the cherry flavors. Some woody notes.

Sampled in the presentation tent at WBF Raleigh. Bright red color. Big head. Strong funky fruity aroma. Taste is green apple, olive, berry and citrus. Smooth, complex and well balanced.

Bottle. My first whiff made me think "funky!" Nice tartness, but not just cherry juice. Good mustiness, a little woodiness, and even some lemoniness on top of the cherries. Neither overly sweet nor overly tart. Good balance. Really enjoyed this one.

Nice red color and a creamy head. The aroma has notes of cherries, yeast and sourness. The flavour is sourish with hints of vinegar, yeast and nice, sour cherries, that develops into notes of red currant.

375 ml bottle purchased mail order from Liquor Max in Loveland, CO. Best before 22.12 (based on other reviews, I take this to mean December 2012). Pour is strawberry deep red with a fluffy pink head that falls pretty quick. It is the exact same pink that is on the top of the label. Wild looking beer. Aroma of musty, funky, yeasty and cherries. Awesome nose. Taste is sour, tart funkiness with a very solid foundation of cherries. Everything works well together and is blended beautifully. Palate is medium, with a nice sharp tartness to the finish. Crisp, fruity, complex, refreshing. Wow, this was delicious.

Bottle (2003): Poured a ruby red with a medium pink head. The aroma is sour cherries. The taste is tart cherry and old vinegar twist. Makes my mouth tingle.
