375 ml bottle. Pours a nice bright violet reddish with a fizzy head- mostly clear body and high carb. Aroma is intensely sour cherry- earthy, cherry pit, a bit pedio like with some earthy leathery musty notes and a ton of acidity. Great intense lactic sourness in here- tons of sour cherry flavor, pedio, bacteria, funky as hell, and just very intense all around ont eh palate with a long lasting intense sour finsih. I keep forgetting how much I love this beer. Gotta find more.

2000 bottle shared by Rastacouere at the Mondial Ratebeer tasting, 6/4/2005. Bubbly white-pink head is actually well-retained. Medium sized bubbles rise to the top of the glass, amid a hazy, cranberry-juice colored body. No lacing. Juicy wood-pulp in the nose, with cranberries and old wood glue. Sweet cherry notes and sour cranberry pulp. Lots of dry, mildly funky yeast. Flavor begins with sour acids, but nowhere near the level of Cantillon, let alone the De Cam we just had. Plant stalks, bits of lettuce. Cherry pits and orange rind. Foamy and bubbly texture, with a lightly peppery mouthfeel. Medium-light body. Retronasal has tart bret, maybe a touch of light cherry sweetness and some pleasant dry malt. Very interesting, though I’m not tremendously blown away.

Bottle picked up in Antwerp Oct’ 06. This poured a wonderfully rich pink colour with a huge fizzing pink head. Aroma was yeasty, slightly acrid with a noticeable sour cherryness to it. Taste once you were past the first zappy sharp cherry acid tangs was lovely and got better as the beer warmed slightly, really enjoyed this but unfortunately fell asleep before being able to finish this beer 3.6 October 2006 Bottle at the Hopduvel, Gent 07-12-07 A nice pink head sat atop a vimto coloured beer, cherry sour aroma wonderfully spritzy some woody dryness, not as harsh as the Cantillon or 3 Fonteinen Krieks but in my opinion the best of this trio, lovely. 3.9 December 2007

Bottle. Dark reddish colour with a nice creamy mostly lasting head. Aroma and taste of bitter cherries. Too bitter for my taste.

Bottled. Vintage 2000. Deep red with a frothy, pink head. Ratger sour aroma with nice cherryseed-notes. Rather short flavour. Dissapointingly thin actually. Pretty sour and pleasant cherry-falvour though.

2000 vintage. Dark red with a pink head. Cherry nose woith yeast and sour/sourish notes. Sour cherry flavor that turns sweeter for a while before neding in a bitter way.
