Nice, light burgundy colour. No head. Aroma shows pedio, lots of wood, abundant cherry. Very dry, very puckering. The cherry is restrained. There’s still some pedio. Quite woody. The finish is actually a little thin, a bit alcoholic. The brett has really got this bone dry.

Bottle from 1998Horseblanket and vinegary nose with a bit added cherry. Neon red, not much carbonation, low soapy white head. Sour citrus, wood and some barnyard flavors, not too sweet, low level cherry notes. Ligthbodied, dry mouthfeel. Quite pleasant and yeasy accesible without being too sweet.

Bottle. Head is initially large, frothy/fizzy, dark pink, mostly lasting. Body is dark reddish-purple, bottle conditioned. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), lightly to moderately yeasty (barnyard/horseblanket, cobwebs), with a note of sweet cherries. Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation.

Red, somewhat hazy colour. Pink, disapearing head. Sourish aroma of cherry stones and barnyard. Sourish cherry flavour with a little touch of yeast.

This poured with a rich ruby red hue and a large pink head. The aroma is strong lemons and some vinegar. There is also a hint of the flowers, Sweet Williams. The taste is nice and tart with a dry finish. There is some vinegar sourness and a little bit of cherries in the background. This is a little salty. The body is slick and lightly carbonated. A nicely made fruit lambic that is tart and refreshing.

Pours red with a slight orange hue. Lasting pinky beige head. Slightly funky cherry aroma with some vinegar notes. Sweet cherry flavour, with a sour tart finish. Nice stuff.

Pours hazy, fruity nose not clearly cherry. Head is lovely but the taste on this one is quite sour, no sugar to balance out. More of an austere styled Kriek which is well made but I prefer the fruit forward versions.

Pours red in color with a big white head. Smells like cherries, and sourness. Pretty good, not as sour as I was anticipating, but its pretty good. Not bad, very driinkable. I like this.
