Bottle 2004. Pours a deep muddy red with a funny-looking pink head. Aroma is sweet and fruity with plenty of cherries to go around. Flavour is sour with a clear definition of the berries - there is some barn and wood in there as well. Not my favourite lambic.

10/9/10. Thanks Coleman! Somewhat unidentifiable sour aroma with a big tart flavor that’s mostly just tart and not much going on.

2005 Lambic Festival at Deliah’s Chicago (sample of a 2000, 33 mL bottle): Fiery orange-red with an off-pink, persistent cream. Musty cherry skin and dank basement aroma with wisps of iron and blood. Slightly off-iron laced flavours; perhaps a bit oxidized, but retains some semblance of cherry rind and blueberry sweetness. This one was pretty mediocre, but I get a slight sense that it could be enhanced with a fresher or otherwise sample…

2006 vintage: Pours murky dark red with a pinkish head, looks lovely. Limes and overripe cherries in the aroma, oak barrels, pretty strong notes of chlorine and bandaid. Surprisingly watery taste, not too different from their Geuze - pithy and completely dry with a medium to high tartness, flavours of plant leaves and citrus. It seems as if the cherry flavour decreased over time, since they really add an incredible amount of fruits to this. Light alcoholic burn in the throat. Underwhelming.
