Aroma: strong cherries, sandy soil, hisbiscus flowers, sugar, minerals, and earthiness
Appearance: murky reddish-slight brown tint
Flavor: cherry juice mixed with grapefruit juice, cherry pits and stems and leaves--too much grapefruit juice
Palate: very thick and frothy, very filling

Weekend of Spontaneous Fermentation 2008. Muddy deep blood red (or purple). Huge fruit and meaty cherry nose. Thick and viscous up front then more pasty on the back end, coating the mouth. Tart fruit skin and tart hay all over this thing, but still quite smooth. Rich and extremely "pure" in the cherry fruit character.

[1143-20080301] Tap. Woody petrol cherries aroma with some dark fruity malt tones. Murky, dark red pink body with a medium-lasting foamy pink head. Sour cherry pie flavour with dry malt mid-tones. Medium body has a sour finish. Nice and sour, good.
(ZBF 2008; Sint Niklaas, BE)

Draught at ZBF 2008. Hazy red colour. No head. Almond paste and cherry stone in aroma. Low cherry profile in flavour, along with medium acidity and light almondy. Touch of rubber.
