COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The curious-sounding word ‘boondoggle’ means work of little or no value done merely to look busy. American Honor Beer Company has chosen the name Boondoggle in recognition of the endless boondoggles that politicians have created and bestowed upon the American individual throughout the country’s history.

Bottle. Pours a light amber color with a pretty nice head. Aroma is weak with some carneamel and mild hops. Taste is similar to yuengling lager or steg amber lager.

Pours dark copper with a decent beige head and a toffee aroma. There is a mellow fruity dark malt flavor with a dry finish.

Bottle from a grocery outlet. Pours near-copper with a creamy beige head. Soft caramel aroma with a hint of light stone fruit. Med body. Flavor is somewhat sweet caramel with some fruity hop. It’s rather clean, quite drinkable, and finishes almost bitter. Well worth $3.99 a sixer.

12oz from Grocery Outlet. Clear medium amber with lasting off-white foam. Toasty caramel and slightly nutty nose. Generous crystal malt flavor washes over whatever subtle hopping is going on. Strong carbonation, medium body, and mostly crisp lagery finish. A steal at $4/6-pack.
