MrRomero (1934), Nolanville, Texas, USA Aug 17, 2005 Bottle: aroma-less and pale yellow with a big white head. For all the head, this was mildly carbonated. Reminded me of a typical brewpub blonde which is not to say it’s bad, just boring. Light hairspray tasting and light overall. Mild apple. Really not bad and worth a shot over a Bud or Miller. SuIIy (1406), Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, USA Mar 1, 2005 like the previous rater, I got this beer in florida but it comes from wisconsin ( which seems to be the king of america when it comes to shit beer) this wasnt bad. it had an average dark yellow color but had a nice lager bite, similar to a fosters. not bad, definately not good though Sham (1846), Seattle, Washington, USA Nov 5, 2005 Clear gold with light head. Sour malt aroma. Almost a wet towel smell. I’m not sure what I mean by that, but it just reminds me of such. Flavor is very light. A little touch of apples and malts. Not too much else. It does not however, taste like bootie. kyzr (1119), Belgrade, Montana, USA Oct 21, 2005 Very light yellow with small white head. Flavor is super sweet, like a bud with more sugar added. Finish is a little tart. ghawener (952), San Salvador, El Salvador Jul 27, 2005 Can: Bright golden, pours a medium bright head that quickly fades. Taste is crisp, nice hops and malt balance, herbal, notes of spices. Grab yourself some Bootie. openwindow (67), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA Mar 14, 2005 Found in a bottle in FL. Nothing special, not overly horrible. TChrome’s review states "remarkable for not being remarkable". I don’t think that could be stated any better. BückDich (4788), McCall, Idaho, USA Nov 8, 2005 Clear gold with no head. A funky corn, rice or other adjunct nose with musky hop. Light flavor with a watery tail, sweet but unbalanced with underwhelming bitterness. The finish is pale, light, watery, boring. Meh. hopscotch (5440), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Apr 3, 2007 Bottle... AWOL ’07... Clear yellow lager with a tiny, fizzy, white head. Subtle, peppery, yeasty nose. The flavor leans on the sweet side of balance, but not by much. It’s bland and barely medium-bodied with fizzy carbonation. However, it’s fairly refreshing and I suppose that’s its goal. Short, crisp, lightly sweet finish.
