Orange, clear, hoppy and good. Hop character is more grassy than the pils, and the finish is a lot more bitter. Very good.

Thanks to bluevegie for getting this for me. It looks good in the glass with the expectation that it will be a strong and reasonably authentic IPA. The pine notes in the nose give the hint as well with the flavour being reasonably strong as would be hoped. A good degree of fruity spiciness and residual hop finish. OK but not great.

On tap at the brewery. Poured into a large tulip glass, clear golden orange body with a decent head that hardly lasted but left some lacing. Hops are what you want in an IPA and this beer delivers without being too intense. Pine aromas from the hops as well as some yeasty characters- cheese. Hops predominantly in the taste, not too bitter and not as fruity as advertised. Malts are there – just, giving a little straw taste.
Bottled. No big differences, the head lasted the distance and the lacing was also a lot better, it went down just as easily, grapefruit a little more noticeable, light to medium body and a thin finish that hangs around.

Bottled. Hazy amber, creamy head. Aroma of melon and grapefruit. Sweet and fruity with medium body and grassy bitterness that turns into a bitter finish.
