COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Limited release, brewed especially for our 15th year anniversary! Bootleg’s British-born brewer Michael Brookes has handcrafted this traditional Northen English style ale. Copper in colour, high both in alcohol and hop character, but nothing overpowering, it’s toasty and fruity malt flavours tend to be more pronounced. A careful blend of English Northdown hops and Australian-grown Galazy hops plus three varieties of malt and English ale yeast have created this wonderful extra special bitter.

It was a bit of a pain in the ass just trying to get all the wax away from the crown seal. Coppery golden body with a good size head that didn’t want to hang around too much. Aroma when it arrived was quite good and mainly all hops, pine and citrus. Some grapefruit in the taste don’t notice the malts but they are there in support, good carbonation, glad I didn’t have to share and had the whole bottle to myself.
