COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This Wheat beer is designed to a greater spectrum of people in that it has a low bitterness threshold and is relatively sweet. The hops used in the wheat are aromatic in nature (Hersbrucker & Willamette). This allows for gentle hop flavours to emanate rather than having a distinct bittering flavour. Coupled with this is a residual sweetness which combines with the grassy/floral hop flavours to form a beer that is well rounded, soft and generates a pleasant mouth feel.

Bottle bought in Perth. As some of the ratings below suggest, something had gone badly wrong with this brew. The appearance was a murky, dirty yellow with next to no head - truly deserving a 1. There were some sweet malts, grassy hops and a moderately bitter finish. Poor.

Bottle. Not quite clear orange with a white head. Aroma has vague lemon, earth and cardboard. Taste has fairly bland sweetness and some herbal notes. I wouldn’t have guessed it was a wheat beer. Bought with other Bootleg beers that seemed very fresh. Urk.

From a 330ml bottle on 14/6/2011. Pours a clear straw colour with a big head that disappears quickly. Has a slight aroma of grains and salami. There’s not much going on flavour wise - some moderate wheat notes and a touch of lemon. The carbonation is lively. All up, quite bland and disappointing.

Bought mix 6 pack from brewery in Margaret River. Wasn’t too impressed with it, thought it might have gone a bit bad in the bottle. Head went flat very quickly, nice straw color though, not much aroma or flavor to be had. Pretty disappointing but i think it needs a tasting from a fresh batch off the tap

330ml bottle. Typical of what you would expect with a mountainous rocky white head that threatens to billow out of the glass. Clear amber colour with aromas of banana, cloves and vanilla bean. Slightly bland flavour with a light dry touch on the palate.

Pours a hazy straw with a small head. Aroma is pretty basic, but shows some bready wheat and cloves, but little else. Flavours show more wheat, with some grainy malt unfortunately bringing it down. Too much prickly carbonation detracts from the little flavour present.

Bottle -- Pours with a huge frothy white head that soon dies down but never completely goes away. A vaguely hazy yellow. Medium carbonation. Some fruitiness in the aroma but very little of anything really. Light mouthfeel. Fairly insipid sweet flavour and a tiny touch of bitterness in the aftertaste. Nothing unpleasant here but nothing to get excited about either.

18 Apr 2006 - Sweet sour malt hop aroma. Cloudy yellow-amber colour, good head and suds lacing. Sour and sweet hop flavour but too simple. Thin, tangy sour hop finish.
