22oz bottle. Rating #17. Big dark black pour with a nice chocolate brown head. Picked up mint right away with a nice choclatey undertone, very pleasant like a mint chocolate chip shake. Similar flavor, nice mint chocolate chip ice cream thing going on. Mild aftertaste and a medium body. Real good stuff. (2059)

Bomber from Bev4Less. Pours dark black-brown, little to no foam. Solid aromas of chocolate and mint pervade the nose, with mint being perhaps the stronger. Taste is a little fizzy and off, kind of like lots of homebrews I’ve made. The mint and chocolate are there, but you have to try to notice them over the top of the off-balance malty qualities. Like many of Bootleggers’ "flavored" beers, this one loses something in the attempt at specialization. It’s drinkable, but barely, and is mostly a muddled mess. Ah well, always worth a try.

I really think this should have leaned toward the malty side. I think the added sweetness would have given it more of a chocolatey flavor. Mint flavor is definitely there, and is not bad at all. An alright beer.

Bottle @ Dan’s house, courtesy of arminjewell. Thanks Armin! Dark brown appearance with a light brown head. Minty, roasts dark chocolate, light espresso aroma. Minty, sprucey, sappy, dark chocolate malty flavor that has the mint a little overdone.

Pour out of 22 oz bottle, thanks for the bottle Scott! Dark brownish pour with thin fizzy off white head, aroma brings notes of big mint, herbal and fresh mint with some nice chocolate, hints of roasted malt with a touch of bready caramel, touch of slight coffee but mainly mint and chocolate. Taste is a mix of herbal mint and peppermint mixing with chocolate, some bready cookie notes, touch of mocha and roasted notes, finishing fairly sweet. This is a well done version, not overly minty or chocolate, but a nice mix, almost like a thin mint but on the more minty side.

bottle, thanks to bu11zeye, minty aroma and flavor , thinnish body felt that it needed more chocolate to go with the mint

Bottle. It pours dark brown with a tan head. The aroma is very minty with chocolate and a little coffee. The flavor is the same with a fizzy palate and some burnt toast and ash in the finish. Kind of simple, but effective as you can definitely taste the mint.

(22oz bomber thanks to bu11zeye) clearish deep brown with ruby tint and creamy tan head. Nose of mint, chocolate, cream, and light nutty. Taste of nuts, light mint, cream, bit of mint in the finish with some creamy chocolate. Dry palate finish with some nuttiness.
