A: The pour is a hazy golden straw color with a finger of white head. S: Fairly sweet malt and bread with a bit of bread. There seems to be some corn in there too. I get a fair amount of yeast and some spice notes as well as floral hops. Pears, apples, and orange peels add some fruit character. T: The flavor is a bit watery. There is still the same sweetness of bread and malt along with a decent amount of fruit. The spices are just as prominent as they were on the nose. There is a bit of grass and a mild hop bitterness. M: The body is light to medium with a moderate level of carbonation. D: It’s amazing how much the Brett really adds to this beer. I’d much rather have the regular or even 100% Brett version.
