A: The beer pours a cloudy orange-amber color with a finger of white head. S: Smells quite bready with some decent malt sweetness. There’s definitely a strong ginger note and maybe some (lightly herbal) tea. A little bit of a "green" character to it, maybe grass? T: Lots of sweetness to the flavor. I get honey, which seems to be quite floral, bread, and maybe some toffee. The ginger is prominent as well. There’s a slight citrus character, but it’s definitely minimal. M: The body is medium with the carbonation being a little bit on the low side. D: After the previous beer that had ginger in it, this is a big step up. I liked it well enough, but nothing to write home about.

I had this on tap at Bootlegger’s in Fullerton, CA. Well, I was disappointed. I was hoping for some ginger flavor. It was basically an amber ale.
