[2/18/15] Draught at Bootlegger’s Brewery in Fullerton. Clear golden. Aroma of “green” leafy hops with some fruitiness and onion. Bitter hoppy flavor, “green”, piney and fruity. Medium-bodied.

Bottle from mashmaster-thanks, Tom! Pours clear gold with slow fading head. Nose is pine driven hops with some citrus. Medium body, finishes dry with clean hop bitterness. Solid West Coaster.

Golden, hazy color sprouts soapy white bubbles which dirty my glass. Piney hops (supplemented by malt) fill the air. Caramelized malt and West Coast hops galore on the palate.

Viscous body rocks my world. Smooth, drinkable, and totally delicious -- noticeably improves as it warms. Big fan.

Poured from bomber. Pours a hazy shade of amber with thick creamy white head. Nose is some grassiness and citrus. Taste follows with a touch of citrus and some farmhouse.

Bottle. Clear golden amber pour, with a white head. Citrusy hops, caramel malt, light bread, moderate bitterness, and some pine. A nice ipa, but rather run off the mill.

Appearnace was clear golden with lasting white creamy 1 finger head, rings of lacing. Aromas are citrus fruits, orange maralade, pine, pale, crystal malts, no alcohol. Taste are orange, lemon, pine, pinnapple, melon, pine and sticky resin with sweet base malts, no alcohol. Palate was creamy smooth CO2 with medium body, then lasting citrusy balanced bitter finish. A wonderful west coast IPA.

Extra bottle in a trade with? Sorry I misplaced you, but thanks for the opportunity! Pours a crystal clear deep golden color with a decent sized creamy white head that persists for quite some time before leaving some nice lace on the sides. Aromas of floral and grassy hops with hints of pine and citrus dominate the nose. A solid hit of caramel bready malt with lots of fruity esters and a hint of ethanol. The flavor is sweet bready toffee and caramel with less hop flavor than the aroma suggested. Citrus and pine flavors are moderate and the bitterness is moderate to high. Medium body with a fairly drying finish, moderate level of carbonation and a slick sweet resinous mouthfeel. Decent IPA, a bit old school, but a bit rough around the edges. I could drink this, but would probably choose something else first. No bottle dating is a turn off, I wonder about the age of this one actually.

Bottle. Pours orange gold with bone white head. Nose/taste of grapefruit, caramel malt, perfume, bitter hops, orange peel and resin. Medium body. Bitter finish. A touch chalky.
