COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mountain meadow is a great introduction to spring with its light golden color and notes of honey and herbs. Made with sage, chamomile, tarragon, and honey, the wonderful fusion of these ingredients give this blond ale a smooth, crisp, and refreshing flavor and a sweet floral aroma.

Pours a very light and clear yellow. Nice light sage and tea aroma. Taste has a nice hit of the spice but then becomes very over honeyed. Tastes a little thicker than the ABV

Aroma was decent but the rest left me unhappy with my purchase. Novelty beer at best.

I had this on tap at Brü Grill. It’s a nice blonde ale with herbs. It is a good beer for a session ale.

22oz bottle. Rating #4. Thick and cloudy yellow pour with a white head. Very savory aroma, the sage comes through strong. Light body and easy to drink, but the sage is pretty powerful which drops the drinkability down for me. (2231)

On tap at the source. Really enjoyed this for what it is. Pours with a clear golden hue with a lasting white head. Aromas are of honey, herbal, tarragon, chamomile, mild esters and white sage. Flavors are of honey, sage, chamomile, herbal and a mild spice. Solid honey and floral characters. A touch minty. Medium esters. Good and crisp. Lively bubbles, dry and a bit thin, but very drinkable. Easy drinking, yet decently complex and very tasty.

10 feb 2012, tap at the brewery. Pale yellow, faintly cloudy, some steady bubbles. Smells like cinnamony butter. It’s likely chamomile blended w sage. Smells nice but not nice for beer. Thin, creamy body, slightly fizzy. Sage comes out a lot in the taste, though to is sweetened by chamomile. I honestly can’t make myself keep drinking.
