Our German-style Hefeweizen is an unfiltered wheat beer that is handcrafted using only pure imported Hallertau Mittelfrueh noble German hops to give it an original old world taste. With its white creamy long lasting head, golden color, subtle aroma of bananas, and light hop taste, our Hefeweizen has a crisp refreshing taste. The smooth balanced finish makes this a perfect beer for everyday enjoyment!

22oz bottle, 10th rating, making it legal. Hazy, very dark yellow with a white head. Sweet, a little citrus, banana aromas. More banana in the flavor with something a little strange in the aftertaste, can’t quite place it though, pretty decent otherwise.

Cloudy golden color with a nice head. This had a wonderful aroma with a great taste. The wheat malt and hops blended very well. A very tasty brew with a nice dry finish.

Bottle from DTM’s trip. I thought there was a little more to it than the typical hefe, but not much. It had more pronounced honey and lemon flavors, as well as a hint of banana.

DTM (798) - Winters, California, USA - DEC 22, 2008
Bottle from Hi-Time Wine in Costa Mesa, CA. Poured a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Sweet typical hefeweizen. The palate was well controlled and tasted of bananas with maybe a little bit of lemon. Solid brew.

A classic hefe. Aroma of banana and cloves, maybe a little bubblegum? Cloudy yellow in appearance with a thick white fluffy head. Like all of their beers, this has a thick mouthfeel. On tap at the brewery.

I think this beer is amazing, my most common beer at Heroe’s and for growler fills. I’ve tried it at the brewery on several occasions, and have always been very happy with the flavor. Much more flavorful then many of the Hefeweizens I’ve had in the past, while also being much smoother.

This is a new brewery in Fullerton CA that just starting selling their beer. I had a chance to try it straight from the brewery. The old world was great, unlike the ’American Hefe’ that we are used to. It has a distinct banana yeasty taste to it, but not over powering. The body and mouth feel is smooth and it coats your mouth like a velvet blanket. If you get a chance to try this beer do it!
