Our German-style Hefeweizen is an unfiltered wheat beer that is handcrafted using only pure imported Hallertau Mittelfrueh noble German hops to give it an original old world taste. With its white creamy long lasting head, golden color, subtle aroma of bananas, and light hop taste, our Hefeweizen has a crisp refreshing taste. The smooth balanced finish makes this a perfect beer for everyday enjoyment!

A lot of orange and banana on the nose. Color is very murky orange with a nice white head. The flavor was a lot of banana, which I liked, but which was surprising after all of the orange on the nose, and I would say a little less citrus than an actual German hefe would have. The beer also is a little thinner in texture than what I would expect from a German-style hefe. If you like the banana flavors more than the citrus in a hefe, though, this is a great choice.

Sampled on draught. A hazy dark orange with a white head. Bready yeast taste with plenty of orange peel and ripe banana. Pleasant and refreshing. Not particularly spicy but not bad.

355ml bottle. Cloudy, dark orangey colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Ester fruity aroma, hints of peach and banana. Identical taste. Lacks some yeasty spiciness to fully meet the style.

Hazy amber beer, small cream colour head. Palate is dry and crispy. Tangy yeast and tangy orange. Spicy banana undertone. Light dry finish. Pretty drinkable.

On tap at the source. Pours hazy yellow with a creamy white head. Aroma is yeasty bready. Flavor follows with some lemons and a little tartness. Refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

[2/18/15] Draught at Bootlegger’s Brewery in Fullerton. Nice cloudy yellow with a white head. Pleasant classic aroma with banana and clove. Sweetish flavor, wheaty, fruity and spicy. Medium-bodied.

Well-crafted and can really taste the all-natural all-original recipe. It's an unfiltered beer and there was definitely stuff floating in my beer. Feels like a beer-drinker's 312. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22oz bottle - Aroma - sugary in the nose, some spice/clove, nice showing of banana which is amplified by the perceived sweetness Appearance - hazy gold body, 3" fluffy white head, with impressive retention...nice lacing. Mouthfeel - light/medium bodied, with soft carbonation...silky Flavor - lots of cracker and bread up front, some sweetness mid-palate that brings out the banana flavors. Banana and bread...with a little caramel. Nice. Overall - If this were in a blind tasting, it would be hard pressed to tell it wasn’t made in Germany. A really nice attempt, solidly produced and priced right.
