Bomber pours clear copper with a tan colored head of foam. The aroma offers up a bit of pumpkin and brown sugar and maybe some floral hop notes off in the background. The taste has lots of malts and brown sugar sweetened pumpkin as well as a light amount of vague sort of winter spices.

Smells a bit like potpourri and sugar, taste is a bit of pumpkin and some pie crust/sweet cereal. It's alright for pumpkin, but there is a handful of better pumpkin beers.

Pours a burnt amber orange with a small off white head which quickly fades. Aroma is of raw pumpkin, molasses, pie spices, and some artificial sugar notes. Taste is similar with earthy pumpkin, molasses, light nutmeg-cinnamon, and some plastic like flavor in the finish. has a medium light body with a slightly watery, fizzy mouthfeel and a slightly artificial sweet finish. overall, a somewhat disappointing pumpkin ale that a few off artificial flavor notes.

Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours dark orange brown with a bubbly beige head. Aroma is pretty much spice, but there is a touch of cooked squash. Med body. Flavor is pie spice. There’s a touch of brown sugar. And a hint of cooked squash. This is not so heavily spiced as many. Nice change of pace.

clear brown. Cinnamon nutmeg spice nose. The spice dominates the flavor but not in an unpleasant way.

Bottle from South Bay Liquor: Last bottle on the shelf so I figured I should grab it and for only $4.59 why not? Anyways, poured a beautiful burnt orange hue that reminds me of true autumn colors while a short lived head quickly fizzed out. As for the aroma, an abundant scent of spices such as nutmeg, anise seed, black licorice as well as a mild smell of roasted pumpkin, but there is a harsh fragrance of perfume of alcohol that sort of smells like burnt rubber/plastic. The flavor is similar with regards to all of the spices and suggestion of the roast fruit. Not that well rounded for a pumpkin ale recipe but surely better than some of the other stuff I have tasted in previous years.

30th December 2011 ChrisOs Crimbo Tasting. Hazy amber beer with a tidy cream coloured head. Light and semi dry palate. Fresh pumpkin with a trace of lacto. Supporting spices are obvious but for a change not overdone. Finishes smooth and semi dry with sweetish pumpkin. Not bad at all.
