Bomber. Pours the expected orange-gold of the style. Thin layer of sticky white foam. Aroma of sweet malt and light hops. Flavor is solid of malt and rye, though a touch sweet of corn. This is a fine brew, but lacking in hop flavor and presence. Mouthfeel is oily, but not heavy. Just decent.

Bottle-pours lightly hazy orange with a small soapy slightly off white head that turns to fizzy pretty quickly. nose is not all that in your face in terms of hops-lite citrus, lite pine, sweet malt-flavors are lightly hoppy, rye notes (cracker, sweet grains) and some lite citrus. really not all that IPA-ish if you ask me. finish is sweet with lingering grainy notes. really decent if you would call it an APA,but not IPA. Decent and i bet it would be bettter on tap. a pretty soft beer for the style and ABV.

Not bad. The rye is certainly front and center. Not very hoppy to my west coast tastebuds. Pours a nice orange/brown color. Good sparkle to it but to me is just a little on the blah side.

I’ll tell you what. This beer may not be a big bad ass beer but that’s what makes it great. Think Anchor Steam only more hopped up and just as drinkable. For me super delicious. I gotta get more. Killer aromatics. Aroma is nutty, grainy, cracked sunflower seeds, rye, malty, bitter hops. The quality a flavor is on par with excellent German crafted ales. If you are a pretentious beer snob then don’t bother but if you like delicious beer at a cheap price. Get some. Tasty tasty tasty! I am floored by how drinkable it is. Everything about it is awesome!

A little too sudsy and watered down to warrant that big marquee of an IPA. It’s funny, too, because they make another IPA, called Knuckle Sandwich, that blows any other IPA out of the water. This particular guy, however, lacks the buzz and sting of its contemporaries. The hops nip your tongue but never burrow in, and, being an India Pale Ale guy, this paints my soul a dark stroke of blue. Rustic isn’t terrible, but it doesn’t deserve your time, either. Next.

Bottle poured into a perfect pint glass...Pours a medium gold with red and copper tones. Nice tope head, good retention and lacing...Light of aroma, of surprise, rye. A little caramel with a smidge of vomit on the end...The taste and feel are really light. Feel is annoyingly thin. The taste is light rye, not strong but incredibly easy to drink, a total palate cleanser.

Crystal clear copper with beautiful Champagne effervescence and a billowy and persistent white head. Decent earthy hop aroma with slight malt sweetness. Taste is light piney bitterness with a noticeable dry grain flavor and texture (I’m assuming from the rye). Finishes dry and sweet with very little bitterness. Calling this an IPA seems a bit of a stretch, but it’s a fine beer and I love the rye component!

Bottle... Hazy amber ale with a small, creamy, white head. Good retention. Spicy rye and caramel malts construct an aroma based on fruity apricot and peach-like hops. Medium to full-bodied and creamy with moderate carbonation. Great balance. Plenty of honey and toffee malts accompany flavorful spicy grains and fuzzy fruit hops. Crisp, bittersweet finish.

Bottle pours amber with an off-white head. Aroma shows notes of caramel, light citrus, and a touch of spicy rye. Flavor shows the same with additional notes of lemon and peach. Overall body is moderate, somewhat tart, and finshes with moderate bitterness.

Orangish pour, white head. Nice citrus and lightly spiced aroma. Some yeast and caramel. Flavor is a little malt heavy, caramel, grapefruit peel, and some lemony tartness. Thanks Johnc!
