16 aug 2012, tap at bootleggers. Cloudy tan, no bubbles. Nose is tart green apples and vinegar. Thin and faintly fizzy. Tastes just like a sweet apple cider vinegar with some floral notes. Not terribly pleasant.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a cloudy orange color with a small, soapy white head. Lots of fruit on the nose, particularly nectarine, peach, and apricot. Moderate acetic sourness, a bit of grass, and some wood. As with the nose, fruit really dominates. A sharp bite of tartness from white vinegar. Light lactic notes along with longs of stone fruits. Again, nectarine and peach characters are strong. Unfortunately, very low carbonation, but nice body.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Short pour at the 5th Anniversary. Pours with a hazy golden orange hued body. No head and shows low carbonation. Strongly estery and woody nose. Very fruity, apple, white wine, oak, acetic acid dominant. Low malt character. Flavor also quite fruit, white wine, vinous. Sharp acid and esters. Lots of acetic character, but the burn isn’t horrible for the acetic. Flavors are not disjointed either as are many acetic dominated sours. Low carbonation, medium low body. Decent stuff.
