Je l’ai bue sous le nom «Triple», puis sous le nom «Saison Brux» à quelques reprises, puis encore sous le nom «Triple» vieillie plus d’un an en garde-robe. Peu importe le nom qu’on lui donne, j’adore cette bière. Elle est belle et lumineuse avec une mousse noble et tenace. Elle sent le paradis (le paradis sent les Brett, j’ai vérifié). Elle goûte les fleurs et les épices, le tout soutenu par une acidité dosée

Bottle: Poured a hazy orangey color ale with a super large foamy head with great retention and some very good lacing. Aroma of Brett and dry hops notes with light funky ester is quite wonderful. Taste is also a exquisite mix between some Brett notes with light barnyard notes which are well balance with some dry floral hoppy notes. Malt is semi-sweet and doesn’t take away too much form the wonderful aroma of hops and Brett but act as a solid backbone. Another wonderful treat from Boquebiere.

Pours a cloudy light gold with a big frothy white head and a lasting lace. Aroma is yeasty with some floral hops. Taste is lemon citrus, yeast, small hop bitterness and a little funk. But a whole lot of floral, almost like taking a Febreeze shot in the mouth. Very enjoyable though.

Brown bottle, 500 ml, purchased at Broue Ha Ha, savoured on February 25 2013; eye: coppery, clear, nice effervescence, voluminous tan head, nice lacing; nose: wild yeasts, malt, slight medicinal, light horse, floral hops, banana, clove; mouth: wild yeasts, malt, slight medicinal, light horse, floral hops, slight toffee, banana, light acidity, clove, finale in horse with medicinal presence, medium body, good carbonation, lightly bitter, slightly sweet, slightly grainy texture; overall: quite good FRANÇAIS Bouteille brune, achetée chez Broue Ha Ha, savourée le 25 février 2013; œil : cuivrée, limpide, bonne effervescence, mousse fauve abondante, bonne dentelle; nez : levures sauvages, malt, très léger médicinal, léger cheval, houblon floral, banane, clou de girofle; bouche : levures sauvages, malt, très léger médicinal, léger cheval, houblon floral, très léger toffee, banane, légère acidité, clou de girofle, finale en cheval avec présence médicinale, corps moyen, bonne carbonatation, légèrement amère, très légèrement sucrée, texture très légèrement granuleuse; en résumé : très bonne

UPDATED: OCT 6, 2012 Bottle 500 ml. Bought at Peluso (Montreal). Served in tulip. Pours hazy amber with thick creamy white head. Nice lacing. Aroma is amazing: brett, hops, yeast, fruits, lavander, citrus, floral and slight acidity. Taste is a bit dispointing though, very soapy in fact. Finsih is very dry. Not sure if it has the drinkability of a saison, but for its aroma, this beer deserves a good score.

Bouteille 500ml. Couleur orangée trouble, mousse blanc cassé abondante et aérienne laissant une belle dentelle. Arôme de citron, de brett, acide, un peu florale et un peu d’alcool. Goût de pamplemousse, de brett, de houblon, de poivre, avec une amertume légère. Carbonation moyenne, corps moyen.

Appearance : Dark yellow with small foamy head. Some lacing.
Aroma : Rich and rustic brett with flowery and slightly spicy hops. Barnyard with very light tropical notes. Light honey. Light citrusy tart notes.
Taste : Strong brett with some malt. Very light caramel notes. Herbal hops with floral notes. Finish brett with resinous notes. Light heaviness on the finish coming from the bitterness and the brett.
Palate :Soft but fizzy carbonation.
Overall : Quite interesting. The nose is absolutely stunning with the great brett notes. quite complex brett profile with nice hops. Taste is not as elegant IMHO. I think the bitterness is too heavy with the rather big malt and the brett. It limits the drinkability of what could have been a great session Belgian Wild Ale. Still the nose is really nice and it’s really worth a try. Boquebière is starting to get quite impressive with wild yeast and I can’t wait to see how good they will get.

Très belle couleur orangée et voilée, coiffé d’une mousse volumineuse, qui se résorbe lentement en laissant une dentelle baveuse aux parois. Les levures sauvages se signalent d’emblée, pour ensuite ouvrir la porte à des arômes fruités, épicées et floraux. Un goût digne, les brett y sont, mais de façon moins agressives que leur version triple, donc des saveurs de levure poivrée, d’épices, de pommes fraîches d’automne (cueillies le jour même). Pour ma part, c’est vraiment très bon. J’adore. (388-051012)

Vraiment un très beau liquide de couleur orangé, d’apparence trouble et coiffée d’une merveilleuse mousse volumineuse et persistante, signant le verre d’une dentelle artistique. L’odeur que les brettanomyces dégagent nous fait l’effet d’une lingette imbibée d’éther qu’on hume nous ouvre l’œil avec le sourcil surélevé. Le tout accompagné d’effluves florales et de zeste de citron. Les levures viennent tourbillonner dans la bouche avec les mêmes attributs que ses arômes. (Lot 1111-094095) (295-180512)

Belle couleur orangée avec une arôme rustique alléchante. En bouche c’est une belle rondeur qui nous accueille, du caramel suivi du brett et d’une finition sèche crayeuse et poivrée. La buvabilité est ralentie par l’effervescence.

Bottle (500 ml). Beautiful unclear orange with a thick and persistent medium white head and nice lacing. Aroma is very interesting with strong notes of brettanomyces, floral hops, citrus tartness, fruits and spices. Taste of brett, malt, caramel, floral hops, spices. Brett finish with slight bitterness. Like it has already been said by Fred82, this could have been a remarkable session Belgian Wild Ale but the bitterness and the malty body make this one a little heavy and not so drinkable. Still, this is a very nice offering from Boquébière and I hope they stay on this - wild - way!
