In short: A boozy, floral and fruity Double IPA. Just ok
How: Bottle 500ml. Consumed very fresh the day of purchase
The look: Cloudy golden bronze body topped by a medium beige head with good retention
In long: Nose is floral and wooden hops. Overall sensation of smelling freshly cut wood. Taste is neutral bready malts, metallic notes, floral hops, toasted bread, residual sugars, citrusy notes, dried light color fruits. Alcohol burn in the finish. Appropriate medium carbonation. Mostly good but the metallic notes bothered me. A very ordinary Double IPA. Not much creativity effort here, it’s a beer, it’s not bad and it does its job and gets you drunk. This is the type of attitude that led us to all those parking structures built in the 70s.

Bottle - 500ml. Cloudy amber body with a huge off-white foamy head. Good malty/hoppy aroma with caramel, herbal, and flowery hints. Its sharp hoppy taste carries malty and some subtle oaky notes. Ends with a robust, long, warming bitter finish. Good stuff.

Belle robe ambrée, beau col couleur crème et persistant. Nez de houblon et de fruits fermentés. Goût amère. Bonne bière, bien équilibrée. Elle ne révolutionne pas le genre mais elle offre équilibre malgré un manque de complexité et raffinement.

Bottle 500 ml. Hazy golden brown. Large off-white head. Aroma: Citrus, hops and fruits. Slight notes of caramel. Taste: Grapefruit/citrus, hops and slight notes of pine. Medium bitterness. Overall: Not very complex but well balanced. Ok DIPA.

Bottle 500ml. Pours hazy brown, with high offwhite head, good lacing. Aroma is of citrus and fruits. Taste is of citrus, malt, some acidity. Well balanced, lots of hops.

pours cloudy light brown-red with a nice light beige head, good retention and lacing. lots of american hops in there - strawberry but mostly resin. dry caramel malts. medium hopping - medium long citrusy-grapefruity finish. average carbonation, med to full body, unbalanced finish. still decent.

Pours a cloudy golden brown with a big frothy white head. Aroma is floral/pine hop with sweet malt. Taste has a slightly off balanced floral hop bitterness with some sweet malts.

500 ml bottle. Pours a nice veiled amber with a thick white head. Smells like caramel. Taste is caramel, slightly woody and somewhat fruity. Very dry, somewhat citrusy bitterness. Body is full and slightly creamy. I thought this was an excellent, solid IPA.

Hazy dark amber with s very large beige head. Aroma is citrus, pepper, herbs and resin. Full body with fizzy carbonation. In mouth is bitter with a good balance with residual sugar, cereal, herbal and spicy. OK

Bouteille 500ml. De couleur ambrée foncée et semi-voilée. Nez malté de caramel aux notes rôties, moyen de biscuits et de houblon herbeux aux notes résineuses, terreuses et citriques, léger de butterscotch avec des notes fruitées (agrumes genre marmelade) et des traces de sucre brun. Moyennement ronde en bouche avec un pétillement moyen-bas et une texture légèrement crémeuse et huileuse. Moyen goût fruité (agrumes sucrées, traces d’abricots) accompagné d’une moyenne amertume de houblon citrique (pamplemousse doux) aux notes herbeuses (une amertume présente toute la gorgée) lors de l’entrée en bouche auquel se rajoute rapidement un goût malté de caramel aux notes rôties, un moyen goût de biscuits et des notes de sucre brun puis en finale l’amertume de houblon revient en étant légèrement asséchante avec des notes terreuses et résineuses et aussi accompagné d’un léger goût d’alcool et de traces de sirop contre la toux (traces métalliques). Post-goût moyen-long et un peu sec, moyen-amer de houblon herbeux aux notes résineuses et citriques avec un léger goût d’alcool métallique ainsi que des notes fruitées (zest d’agrumes) et des traces de rôti/ grillé.
